My fps is very inconsistent and goes to absolute crap when I get near trees.

Manufacturer HP
Model HP G62 Notebook
Processor AMD Turion II Dual core processor 2.40 GHz
Intsalled MEmory 4.00 gbs
System type 64 bit OS

I'm not good with pcs and was told to post this. Not sure if its helpful at all.
EDIT: Something xol told me, helped out a lot!
<16:40:37> "Xol": 1) go to Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\
<16:40:46> "Xol": 2) edit crpg_beta_config.ini with notepad
<16:41:05> "Xol": 3) change bOnDemandTextures=true to bOnDemandTextures=false

I prefer DX7 because it runs completely lag free everytime for me. But just my opinion.

Yes, it is what I am going to have to do since Dx7 gives me no lag. Unless I can find out a way to fix the WSE2 on my Pc.

I'm seeing a ridiculous amount of stutter no matter how high or how low my graphical settings are, will fill out a bug report later likely.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

is there anyone (NH members excluded) that would have an issue with that? basically allers is big pun and digglez is fat joe, nobody would say no to that trade

forgot to mention that I turned everything off or on low settings and was experiencing the lag still, turning of corpses helped a tad, but not enough.

Disable the "Reduce Framerate Limit Input Lag", that caused many stutters for me.

Feels weird, as if the animations were skipping frames. That's with 100 fps ingame and a pretty good machine.

This is what is freaking me out, my jitters and skips are easily apparent, but my FPS is stubbornly clinging to 89 or so... I don't understand what is going on then.

This pretty much. I have the fps limitation and cpu off and it's still jittery. It is better than when those options are on but its still bad.

Did you try changing the animation quality setting?

Just providing some feed back.

My computer is much like a cardboard toaster, but with Dx7 I run almost lag free with medium settings.  - With the new launcher I don't really get more than 20-30 FPS and I stutter, game feels choppy and alot of bad stuff

I really like the "Show only my kills" and Make text smaller,  and the green rings around friendly banners, but that isn't enough to get me to use the new WSE2 simply because it isn't exactly playable, For me... Goodluck guys in getting Dx9 to run smoothly with a cardboard toaster.  8-)

EDIT: it also might be that there is around 111 people in the server.

EDIT2: It sets my eyes on fire too  :?
