Title says the basic. Perhaps make it more nuanced in that you use PP to change the limit and cap it out at a max of maybe 10-15g per hour. This way  when people stay in your fief you make a very minor profit for their use of your safe haven.

Yes. Please. Fiefs need more ways to make money, I wanna charge people to stay in them and scare them away with high priced fief visits too.

IMHO the max should be <10 gold as thats the amount you earn if you are not recruiting. I just fear that after time every town will cost the max just to make some money... and thus making traders live expensive again.

I was going to say make the max 15 but an exponential curve. I.E going from 1-5 is easy(ish) but to go into the 10+ range, you almost would need a cities production capability of PP for it(like 20 points per 1 increase after 10). Castles could do it, but villages would max out at 10.

As long as staying inside your own factions fief is free.

All memebers of same faction didn't have to pay fee. Shouldn't be ALL that hard to re-implement....

Taking the fee away was a good thing. Your fief makes money through tradetax. Flat tax is better then taking the same amount from eveybody which will hit the poor people harder than rich people.

lawl, wut? You do not need to sit in a fief. You only sit in a fief to avoid attacks, so why SHOULDN'T you pay for the lords Protection. Otherwise, you can just sit outside until you have to enter.
