You know, for all the people saying capitalism ruins freedom, I can't think of another system that provided the freedom capitalism does.

Monarchism is inherently anti-democratic, so is fascism. Mercantilism was never in democratic states, but could be possible, I guess. Tribalism is neither democratic nor a "real" economic system anyway and communism...just lol.

Edit: that is not to say, of course, that there aren't capitalist dictatorships. I am however saying that there aren't any free non-capitalist countries. In essence, countries are dictatorships despite capitalism, not because of it.

To combat that, do something simple: link me a single free, democratic government that is not capitalist.

i'm afraid we saw a decline of true capitalism in last decades (generally in favor of socialism in eu and corporatism in us), thats the main problem and the reason why we loose freedom.

Pretty much this. Capitalism works very well as a way to provide the population with whatever it wants. But this is largely based on concurrence. When sectors where concurrence is possible (that is, not telecoms, electricity, public transportation...) are dominated by monopolies, it doesn't work as well.

Also, the will (or rather ignorant ideological principle) of transforming every goddamn sector into a market tends to destroy what capitalism really is about, and what the average joe thinks it is. Some sectors are as I said bound to create monopolies. In those cases, putting those businesses in private hands is stupid.

Well capitalism isn't about freeedom. It's about profit and economic growth first and foremost. "Freedom" is just a bullshit word when liberals use it. It's a system made for inequality, a small minority hoards of most of the wealth, playing out the rest against eachother. If humanity is to grow, evolve and prosper, capitalism is something that must be left behind, it's just a path of greed, blood and destruction.
