The only sport you can't play where I live without a special arena made just for it. Unless we play street hockey, then i can play that.

I once went to a fight and a hockey game broke out.

When it comes down to football vs rugby though... rugby wins flatout. The game doesn't stop when someone gets injured and people get injured all the time in rugby.

Hell in the US rugby tournament, there was a game I watched where one team lost their 2 best players in the first 5 minutes to injuries. You don't see that in football.

I am from MA and I am currently in MA. Our tradition in sports is as follows: Red Sox(Baseball) they suck a lot at the moment,  Celtics (Basketball), Bruins(Hockey) and then The Patriots(Football). Mass is one of the better states in terms of history and players for hockey though.

By far Hockey players in my opinion are by far the toughest players in sports.
