Strategus possible exploit?

I'm sure someone has thought about this, but instead of trying to travel really far to give someone gold, can't you just send them the money through the payment from a battle roster ("Send the payment")? Dunno, helpful to give someone far away money.

Done a lot during last strategus, but was fixed so now you have to pay 2 strat gold for every 1 you give them I think.  But at the very least not worthwhile since troop loss is such a low percentage over time that the gold is more valuable than the troops in almost every case.  Troops easy to get, gold difficult.

It would be interesting to see if some one created a banking clan, and did the transfers for a small fee. Since you don't loose gold when attacked they could have people moving about the place in secret at high speed.

And if you wanted the money faster they could use they're network to quick march it from one side of the map to the other.

Cool but I doubt it would really get used and a top that it would be a pig to organise.
