good build.

with the weapon heirloom nerf, i'll go first with maxed body armor... is the best investment atm.

i would go Coat of plates, Transitional or even Milanese.

coat of plates full loomed reach 57 body armor.

transitional full loomed should reach 60 body armor.

milanese full loomed should reach 66 body armor.

EDIT:

regarding the build... instead 150 1h and 62 polearm i would go 135 1h and 102 polearm.... trading 15 1h WPF for 40 polearm WPF.
Thanks for going over my build and helping me on making up my mind, friend, I really appreciate it. +1

I think I'll go for what you suggested, the hybrid 1H/pole build, that way I could perhaps one day purchase the Long Maul and do some "supporting" damages :mrgreen:

Ahem i thought all body armors would only give up to +6 armor when fully loomed  :?:

Anyways nice set of items u got there.

Your build however lacks IF and with the mallet u need to be up close so it pays off to be able to take more hits.

10 PS users will still cut u down in 2 hits regardless of your loomed armor set

yes... 10PS users will still cut me down in 2 hits regardless of IF and armor. but a 10PS user would have same speed i have. for that i use the claymore.
the mallet purpose is to support the line against shielders. the claymore purpose is for 1vs1.

EDIT:

and yes. i choose to have 3 more attributes to have either more WM/ATH or PS rather than 15-20 hp.

I'd suggest an 18/21 build. You're losing out on a decent amount of athletics by converting 10 skill points, which is very important for footwork. The tradeoff would be about 10 wpf I think, which I doubt would be nearly as noticeable as 2 athletics and an extra point of powerstrike

after spending some time with more agi-oriented builds, i decided to try out the different approach and roll on the str boat, i was thinking about this:

    * Strength: 24
    * Agility: 15
    * Hit points: 69

    * Skills to attributes: 8

    * Ironflesh: 5
    * Power Strike: 8
    * Shield: 0
    * Athletics: 5
    * Riding: 0
    * Horse Archery: 0
    * Power Draw: 0
    * Power Throw: 0
    * Weapon Master: 5

        * Two Handed: 148

5athl should be enuff to do the footwork and 8 ps just seems so sweet...was thinking of swapping IF to riding for the fun, but as i might stick to this char and not retire it anymore, i have to think twice about it...any tips, suggestions?

if u dont want to retire anymore, i suggest that u dont spend points into conversion, and plan 32 lvl build

Right now i've got 5 athletics and imo it's enough. I just thought those 10 wpf would make the difference, because 18/21 is quite common, i guess.

i was both  18/21 and 21/18 for total of 8 gens, fun and everything, but as i am sucky at blocking, i need more raw power not to have to swing twice :D more battletime = more room for error for me :P

to the poster with planning build to lvl 32: actually not bad idea at all!

Yeah, blocking is pretty hard. But that's the reason why i thought much agi would be nice...to outspam those guys who can block like everything (Which makes me rage, tbh xD)

Problem is, against really good players spamming wont help anyways :-) been playing 15/24 aswell, was fast as shit, could kill a lot, but when i met good player i got usually pwned, as some of them are sporting str builds, so i needed two or three hits to down them when they needed just one :)

i found out that the "block first attack, then smash" is indeed working against quite huge playerbase :)

It's a good build for 2h, but not 1h, Bob. They will simply backpedal, circle and kill you with as low agi and a short 1h.
