WHAT IS THE EXANIMA BETA?
We call it a beta but really this is more indicative of what tier of backer has access to it than anything else. We've reached a level of quality and functionality that we're happy with, we've used our alpha testing period to refine core gameplay and weed out all the bugs we could find. Exanima is a prelude to a game that is still in development and our focus has been on getting the most fundamental things right and solve any issues before we start piling on more features.

The purpose of Exanima is to give all of you something to play and provide feeback on as we complete development of Sui Generis. It is also designed as a standalone game that we can release to raise further funds for the final stretch of development. It is designed as a slice of Sui Generis. It is set in the same world some 20 years earlier, it tries to convey the existence of this world beyond it and the events taking place at this time are of some importance. You could see Exanima as what a long trip into the underworld in Sui Generis might be like, we have been faithful to it in every regard.

Despite all of this it is important to remember that while Exanima could be seen as a slice of SG as an actual game it doesn't have much in common with it. It's made from the same ingredients but follows a completely different recipe. More importantly we've prepared the finest dough and baked it to perfection but we're still adding the final icing that will make it taste delicious.

Did not see this movies yet, but I really liked that static animation used in old series better.
Manga is great.

Finished Zones of Thought trilogy by Vernor Vinge - great books, especially the first one.

Now doing Hyperion.

That first book from Vinges trilogy is truly great. Sense of wonder is one of reasons I like sci-fi and this book made me feel it.

I read many books from Simmons, but not single one really got me.(rating them as just very good) From Hyperion I liked most part one of first book. (Something with priest)

Currently reading White Fang by Jack London, its brilliant.

One of my favourites childhood books.

Currently reading Shogun from James Clavell. My third book from him, still very good read, but I like Tai-pan and King Rat better.

HESKEYTIME, thanks for this revelation.

It's surely news for devs, that native elitist hated cRPG since 2010. :)

Native combat mechanics and balance is obviously inferior to c-rpg (if only level was capped on 32-33).

But, there's one (other than many noobs to slay ) thing why most people have good time playing native - nice clear weather most of the time.

No fucking night, fog and rain sucking any enjoyment from the game. Especially when there is banner highlight cheat, that negate any meaning of it.

Just bought it. Already top seller on steam.

Looking forward to some huge battles on multiplayer.

Hope singleplayer will be somewhat improved.

lol that horse archer from 43sec.

M:BG needs to implement some horse kicks too...

You probably never heard about this game, but M:BG already got more on Kickstarter just after few days. :P

but introducing "show banners above enemy" in wse2 didnt break immersion?
I never had to use my own glorious dry leaves deluxe mod on public servers cause with enemy banners, there's no need for that.
Its just: see banner, aim a bit below into the fauna. maybe bump before that just for the heck of it - cause its most likely some random xbow guy anyway

Can some dev come here and tell us what is intention for this retarded feature.

This feature actually makes me worried about Melee:BG as I really dont want to see the game turn out to be some highlighted shit like War of Vikings.
