Suggestions Corner / Re: An archery balance post from a shielder

I wonder how much effort it would take to make it so that if you're not carrying a bow, you have the option to 'break' arrows rather than pickup. Basically, pick them up and if they don't have a bow/quiver, just remove them. The problem with horse archers to me is that they just kite around picking up loose arrows when they run out, particularly when they're the type that won't get down from their horse when the flags are up and fight.

Also, were tatar arrows always HA arrows? I feel like my foot archer got unnecessarily nerfed when my mw tatars capacity went to shit.

Can someone explain to me what's so good about Battle Royale game modes? I personally think they're utter shit and don't understand why it's so popular.

I played a few rounds when they were first a thing. They definitely got my blood pumping and adrenaline going from the anticipation and worry, for reasons that Gravoth mentioned. Too much so for me to be honest, so I haven't really played them since.

I kinda feel like clan armouries are a thing for this purpose. And that's coming from an armouryless guy.

Saw the update you just posted on that site. I'm sad to see that only myself and Prpavi were willing to donate. Perhaps now that everybody who had 'invested' into MBG now have that extra money to spare, you could get a few more bucks to help these poor critters. Hopefully bumping this back up to the front of general will get this a little bit more attention.

tldr; bump

You can get altitude at varying levels of accuracy, then take a high level sample map of terrain imagery and generate it from there. It wouldn't be hard to make a game covering the entirety of Europe or even Earth given that all of the data already exists.

I agree on that there should not be a 1:1 scale though, that's just silly and boring. You could potentially make it playable by making time crazy fast and just using fast travel-like abilities between points of interest, but then you lose the feel of scale of the maps.

First question: How many known gaming youtubers did they pay to make a video about it?

I sent messages to several big Twitch streamers asking to for them to just play the kickstarter video on stream and I'd send them some money. Not one responded to me. =[

I still want to give you my moneys. Point me in the right direction on when/where/how to give you them. If you wanted to do a monthly subscription I would definitely devote a bit of my income your way to support the project each month.

I did not know that the Rhodok war cleaver was based on an actual historical weapon. Good to see that it will be in MB:G as well.  :D

Lindybeige has something to say about that
