Yoh!

Since lots of shit is posted in the factionhalls and no admin/mod caring bout it, I wanna suggest easy* modrights in threads for threadstarters.

This way people can simply delete trollity in their clanthreads or assign the opening-post to somebody else (if the clan changes its leader).

And so on.

*easy modrights means: no editing posts of somebody else, no warning, no muting, no banning, no whatever. There are only simple rights needed for cleaning/managing the clanthread.

Server is running on offline-mode. People can play on it, when they are registered on the website/forumz and we usually have tnt and stuff deactivated for normal players. creepers do ppl-dmg but no block-dmg. Flying/Cheating should be deactivated. iConomy+some other roleplay-plugins are running. towny was but it broke and didnt get updated for month, so I deactivated it.

This is mainly regarding the EU-regions, but its not something that happened on an official server or can be solved there. But just see it for yourself...

Some of those RoyalKnights-Kids seem to find themselves funny and obviously "copy" our Clantag in a really poor way. Same as they copy my nick => "CodgS_N1mand". Since they do not attack each other when theyre in different teams (thats common behaviour with RoyalKnights, by the way).
Also they do not even think about fighting at all, see the stats on the K:D on the screenshot. they only are there and die. They use X-Bows without any Meelee-weapon. So they run and delay the game, too.

I could ban them from our server, but that wouldn't have any effect at all. So I hope the admins do something, regarding this quite serious matter.

Hoiz.

I started a new Char today and started playing on the DTV-Server. Two guys in thicker armour were kicking each other short after the spawn. I tried to kick one of them, too (I missed I am not a good kicker at all.). - Just for fun... he wasnt in danger (bots-spawntimer was at around 5) and I knew he would not be damaged at all, because I only had 4 Strength and he did wear something mailish or heavy-kuyakish.
So he kicked me back once and called me "noob", so I pressed M and asked him if he got any problems with me being a noob. Some other people started trolling around a bit so i did not care anymore. J_T_V_Benni (the guy that kicked me) left shortly after. So for me it was over and I tried to be as useful as I could be (luring bots around and stuff like that).

After around 5 Minutes he was back. We spawned, I tried to get on a roof. He kicked me two times and then killed me with his GreatLongAxe with two hits. And called me a noob again. No problems with the word "noob" the char was created half a hour ago so its obviously been a Noob-Char. But for the Intentional Teamkill I started a Ban-Poll. It didnt get through so he started one on me - what didnt get through again.
Right after we spawned again he hit me with his fists the last time. With the 4/5 Penalties from before he got 5/5 and kicked off the Server.

Still I don't think this is enough. Please state an Example of such moronity. This was clearly the wrong behavior against a new player.

This happened at around 10:20am GMT+1 (chadztime) on EU_cRPG_7.

Ich hatte die Idee meinen Screen zu streamen und nebenbei im teamspeak n paar Fragen zu Strategus zu beantworten. Ich weiss nicht ob ich das durchziehen werde, da ich es absolut nicht leiden kann vor Publikum zu sprechen. Dashier ist erstmal nur ne Anfrage, ob überhaupt Interesse besteht.
Auch weiss ich nicht ob das ordentlich laufen würde, da ich n Max-Upload von ca. 50kb/s hab. (Ich werd das vorher wohl testen müssen.)
Außerdem benutze ich eine Bildschirmauflösung von 1920x1080 und ich weiss nicht wie das rüberkommt. Ich denke ich werde die Übertragung via join.me machen.

Natürlich wär dann von Vorteil, wenn ich noch ein bis zwei Leute dabei hätte, die auch Ahnung haben, damit die Fragen beantworten können, die ich nicht weiss.

Außerdem gibts für mich den Nachteil, dass alle sehen können wie lächerlich unser Equipment ist... und ich schäm mich doch immer so leicht.

Jetz ist die Frage, ob das überhaupt gewollt ist?

Tuetensuppe meinte gerade, dass "Lernstunde" arrogant klingt. Zugegeben, er hat recht, doch hoffe ich, dass das etwas gemindert wird, wenn ich zugebe, dass mir kein anderes/passenderes Wort dafür einfällt. Was ich machen möchte ist Leuten von Anfang an ein wenig Strategus beizubringen und zu erklären. Und danach anfallende Fragen zu beantworten.

Die Kinder der grünen Sonne sind ein Zusammenschluss aus solchen, die keinen wahren Platz in der Welt um Calradia haben. Ein bunt (grün) gewürfelter Haufen aus Glückssuchern, Geächteten, Vogelfreien und gesunkenen Adeligen oder deren Nachkommen. Es herrschen rauhe Sitten unter ihresgleichen, doch ebenfalls familiäre Verhältnisse. Jeder von ihnen hat ein Geheimnis oder eine Sorge, die ihn verfolgen, oftmals nicht nur in den Träumen. Jeder, der mit den Gepflogenheiten der Gruppe zurecht kommt und Loyalität seine Stärke nennt ist willkommen.

Niemand führt den Haufen an... nicht nur als Richter und Führer, sondern auch als Vertrauensperson und Wahrer der Ordnung. Und obwohl er Gerechtigkeit übt und öfter mal mit harten Worten um sich wirft hat er doch immer ein Ohr für seine Gefolgsleute. Was ihn antreibt scheint sogar ihm selbst unklar.

Nach außen hin, speziell in der deutschen cRPG-Community sind wir wohl die "Bösen". Immer eine große Klappe und kein Blatt vor dem Mund. Und auch inGame sieht man oftmals unschöne Wörter hinter unseren Namen stehen. Trotzdem sind wir ab und zu, solange man uns lässt, auch hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Intern, unter uns, herrschen hauptsächlich freundschaftliche, wenn nicht sogar familiäre Verhältnisse... wobei auch öfter mal Spaßhaft Beleidigungen fallen. Ich (Niemand) denke jedoch, dass diese allgemein nicht verletzend aufgefasst werden, sondern lediglich ein Ausdruck der Zuneigung sind.

Wir sehen für gewöhnlich davon ab auf Servern groß herumzuschreiben "CotgS are recruiting! Come to us, we got Cookies!". Um genau zu sein haben wir sogar Cookies... auf dem ts3-Server als Belohnungen für gewisse inGame-Situationen. Doch gehen wir nicht auf andere Spieler zu um diese für uns anzuwerben. Wenn uns jemand als Person vom ersten Eindruck her sympathisch vorkommt weisen wir ihn darauf hin, dass er sich uns als Clan mal ansehen kann. Ansonsten lassen wir die Spieler lieber auf uns zu kommen. Wir brauchen keine Leute, die wir selbst mit viel Werbung angeworben haben, sondern solche, die Interesse an unserer "Gemeinschaft" haben.

Wer sich bei uns meldet kann bei uns "Praktikum" machen. Praktikanten sind das, was bei anderen Clans Anwärter oder Rekruten sind. Die Pflichten, die sie haben sind die, dass sie sich im Forum registrieren ( niemand.hostingsociety.com/forum ), das Banner tragen und auf dem ts3-server herumhängen. Wenn sie dann zum vollen Mitglied aufsteigen wollen müssen sie sich im Forum einbringen und einen kleinen Antrag erstellen.

Wir scheren uns absolut nicht über K:D-ratio. Was uns wichtig ist ist, dass Spaß am Spiel und am Clan vorhanden sind. Ein dreizehnjähriger im Clan der eine 5er-Ratio hat und sich daneben benimmt hilft uns weniger als Jemand der eine 0,5er-Ratio hat sich aber gut eingliedern und mit uns lachen kann.
Auch Warband-/cRPG-Anfänger sind bei uns gern gesehen.

Aufnahme-Bedingungen sind im Grunde recht einfach: Wir verlangen ein Mindest-Alter von 16 Jahren und die Anerkennung und Erfüllung der genannten "Pflichten".

Es gibt Praktikanten, die die unterste Stufe darstellen. Danach folgen Mitglieder und solche Mitglieder, deren Main-Char einen Nachnamen verdient hat (Noch nicht eingeführt!). Die Nachnamen werden von mir (Niemand) vergeben und sind an den Spielstil des Chars angepasst. Außerdem bekommen einzelne Mitglieder von Zeit zu Zeit auch Posten und Aufgaben zugewiesen, welchen sie nachgehen müssen.

Seit Herbst 2011 gibt es außerdem die Pflicht sich jeden Samstag ab 17 Uhr zum CZT ("ClanZockTag") einzufinden. Mitglieder, die zu oft fehlen werden degradiert, Praktikanten werden aus dem Clan entfernt. Ausnahme hierbei ist "Entschuldigtes Fehlen". Dabei werden allerdings nur gute Gründe akzeptiert. Battlefield 3, Skyrim oder WoW/LoL sind keine akzeptablen Gründe. Hierbei ist anzumerken, dass wir kein ärztliches Attest wollen oder eueren genauen Tagesablauf, sondern lediglich eine kurze Meldung wie "Hey, nächsten Samstag bin ich auf Konzert.". Eine weitere Ausnahme stellen Leute da, die unter der Woche stark aktiv sind und am Wochenende kaum online kommen können.
Fürs Forum gilt eine ähnliche Regelung. Leute, welche 4 Wochen nicht im Forum eingeloggt waren werden degradiert oder entfernt.
Diese Maßnahmen sind leider notwendig, da wir nicht, wie andere Clans, 80+ Mitglieder in der Memberliste stehen haben wollen, von denen vielleicht 20 Spielen, sondern eine Gruppe mit ausschliesslich aktiven Mitgliedern.

Es sind keinerlei Waffen festgelegt, Allerdings gibt es eine Rüstungs-regelung. Diese ist einfach zu merken, da sie ausschliesslich grüne und Heraldic-Rüstung erlaubt:

Wir sind auf Strategus aktiv (Farbe 00b337) und haben uns einer Gruppe größerer Clans angeschlossen. Wir (als Clan, nicht als Allianz) haben ein großes Ziel, auf welches wir hin-arbeiten.

Unser Sitz ist Tazjunat. Die Handelssteuern stehen auf 15 Prozent, Stündliche Miete auf 10 Gold und der Good-crafting-Preis liegt bei 4 Gold. Falls ihr einen Ort zum bleiben sucht könnt ihr es euch dort gemütlich machen. Wir kaufen euch euere Goods ab. Kontaktiert dafür einfach Niemand.

Wenn ihr euch für unsere Strategus-Battles bewerbt schreibt in die Text-Zeile folgendes:

Als Beispiel:

Bezahlung könnt ihr auf 0 lassen.
Für gewöhnlich bezahlen wir nach K:D-Ratio (Kills geteilt durch Deaths) mal 5 (oder 10, jenachdem, wie wir finanziell drauf sind). Wenn ihr gute Stats habt, aber mit euerem Verhalten negativ auffallt, kann es sein, dass ihr KEINE Bezahlung erhaltet.
Für Vertragspartner und treue Mitstreiter gibt es zuweilen Boni. Leute die spezielle Jobs gut befolgen können dafür aber auch Boni erhalten.
Für Allianzpartner gibt es keine Bezahlung, die bekommen eh das meiste unserer Finanzen.

Außerdem gilt es, sich für unsere Battles auf dem TS3 einzufinden. Und zwar 30 Minuten vor Beginn!

Other / EU_cRPG_HRE inequitable permaban by Krampe_HRE

Hoiz.

I was playin on the HRE-server a few minutes ago and got permabanned without warning or reason.

I was standing a few steps away from the wall and shooting at some guys that were standing on the upper part of the ladder. My stats were okay and I "only" hit two of my teammates accidentally when I played on the map. I was very careful with not hitting anyone and I always said "Sry".

Suddenly I got the message that I was banned permanently.

It is known that CotgS and HRE have some issues with each other, but for us this always stays on the forums and official servers and we don't go to the HRE-servers to flame around.
I have to admit I wanted to say something about their pissyellow colours, but I did not, because I just wanted to play a little and did not want to stress anybody.

After I got banned I had CotgS_Mad_the_Wild ask them why I got banned and he stated "Insulting". Since I know the only lines I wrote were "Sry" that can not be. If he is still angry because I trolled him a few weeks ago on the forums it is nothing more but vigilantism, what, as far as I know, is not permitted by the cRPG administration.

Obviously that ban was not legit in any way and there should be concequences for the abusation he committed.

That ban was low, even for HRE and the "war" between us. I used to think higher of you guys...

Mahlzeit.

Hab durch die komische Steam-aktion gestern Devil May Cry 3 SpecialEdition gekriegt... Aber ich kann mit DMC echt nichts mehr Anfangen... das war vorbei als meine Konsolentage vorbei waren.

Also ist die Frage:
Hat jemand was, was er dafür eintauschen würde? Ich kanns euch auch für 15 Dotterchen (kostet normalerweise 20 bei Steam) via Paypal überlassen, aber pfff... kein Plan. Fakt ist ich wills loswerden und will was (für mich) interessantes dafür.

Hoiz.

We got a problem. Well, not me, at least two of my clan-mates.

One starts to craft something (he tells me he clicked on craft => goods, I check it and the info says "CotgS_Green_Scorpion: work" and then he goes offline) and if I check a few hours later he is doing nothing again. He got more than enough money to craft 4 weeks straight...

The other one is moving randomly from time to time, without even klicking somewhere or being online.

This is annoying.

Not sure if one or both use the eyecandy. But I use it and it works great, without any problems.

Hier werd ich nur die "Full"-versionen reinstellen, nicht die Hotfixes, außer es gibt keine Full-versionen.
Löscht zur Installation euer Modules/cRPG-Verzeichnis und installiert den Mod neu. Wenn ihr support braucht: beschafft euch teamviewer. steam: "illuminu".
