Suggestions Corner / Remove ladders from battle

In my opinion ladders, should be removed from battle. Roofcamping is a horror that plagues every round. Maybe archers should be buffed if they are unable to survive the regular battlefield with the dangers of cav, but the camping on the roof is just a too safe position for them. Even worse, rounds often get delayed because of a pack of ranged cowering on the roof.

I'm all for the implementation of deployable stakes to replace ladders in battlefield.

Please discuss this.

I'm also selling/trading a +1 Black Lamellar Vest for +1 armours from 40 to 50 body armor.

Suggestions Corner / XP gain on duel servers

So after calculating my average time per gen, which is about 2,5 months for me. I started thinking why a generation takes me so long. It is because I duel, a lot. I want to be good at this game and I think the best way to achieve this is duelling. But sadly there is no xp gain when duelling, and I think there should be. Some people prefer playing battle, some prefer siege and others prefer duelling. Why doesnt the third group get xp?

I'm not asking for the same amount as in siege or battle, I'm fine with less, but just some. Like before the upkeep patch. Ofcourse no gold gain on the duel server so we can keep trying out or fancy armors and plated chargers.

I've recently actually got xp on the duel server. It was just x1 and you only got when you were active, not when afk. I think that worked pretty well and I don't actually understand why it dissappeared again.

If people have other suggestions for xp on duel or can state reasons why not, I'd be glad to hear them.

EDIT: I support the system I mentioned above by the way. A constant x1 but only when you are not afk. Which I have experienced already so it's there, but it's just not activated currently.

Strategus General Discussion / I'm in! Wait, what now?

I think a lot of players that are in strategus for the first time don't really understand its mechanics. So as this is the old strategus, I was hoping that some helpful noob guides were written in the past and that someone could find those and perhaps sticky them?

Buy / [Buy] A loompoint

I want to buy a loompoint for 350k.

Buying a loompoint works like this right?
1. I give the item I want heirloomed to the loompoint seller.
2. He looms the item.
3. I buy it back for the price we agreed upon.

Now I wonder, doesnt this put me at great risk if I want my +2 miaodao heirloomed into a +3 miaodao of the seller just screwing me over to have 2 more heirlooms. Or is there some nifty trick that eliminates this risk?

Suggestions Corner / Latest forum posts gone from character page

New cRPG site looks great, but one of my favorite features is gone from it. I always loved the top of the page where the latest forum posts where listed. When I died in battle I would alt tab and check if there were any threads of interests there. I would really like to see this return, cause it was really a great thing, that made me much more active on the forum. So please bring it back, I don't really understand why it's gone anyway.

So I'm using a 5 euro supermarket optical mouse and I started wondering if a uber l33t laser mouse might improve my performance. What are your experiences with lets say a 30-50 euro mouse?

I bet there is already a model somewhere and if not it looks like its not that hard to make (for someone with some modelling skills which is not me)

I got banned recently because I tried getting on the attacking team by using a trick in siege. I'm aware that what I did is exploiting faults in the game and that using such a trick is therefore wrong. I do find a permanent ban for such a thing rather harsh. I didnt get any warnings. The admin couldve have given me a kick with description.
Nonetheless I'm sorry for using that trick and I will refrain from using it again.

(In on of the stickied topics in this board it says that a permanent ban is not permanent? Does that mean it expires? If so, should I be thinking hours, days or weeks? Imo there should be some more info in that topic, cause I dont really understand it as it is.)
