This broke recently. The remote_filelist retrieved is CVS, while the .gz version of the filelist.txt is equal sign value separated. I got mine working (didn't know Python, went from neutral to not a fan), but why have two different types?

I've had this happen before FrugFrug, could never fix it. Something in the .sco file is corrupted I think. You can try covering it up, but I suggest restarting, even if that sucks.

War of the Roses video was amazing, definitely want to play. Want to alpha/beta test even. It has the same publisher as M&B, Paradox, but it lists Fatshark as the developer, not TaleWorlds. I don't think they'd branch off a new company, I think this is some serious competition to Mount & Blade 2.

So, voting is fun, right?

If you press Q M U / D ingame, you can either upvote a map or downvote a map.

We have had this function for a long time now, but never really used it. We're going to try and use it more, to see which maps are liked, and which aren't. It will mainly serve as benchmark (looking over some previous weeks, about 6 maps showed 0 or positive votes, the rest was in various degrees of minus) but it might lead to other interesting things in the future (such as rotations based solely on it, for example).

I highly encourage players to vote on maps, especially if you like a map. It's easy to just downvote what you don't like and forget to upvote what you do like. 

Each player gets 1 vote per map every 24 hours, positive or negative.

To make gathering feedback on multiplayer maps easier (for dedicated server owners, as this isn't send to the db) you can [Up]vote or [D]ownvote your favourite maps. To do this, use the Q-menu:

Press 'q' (quick menu) then 'm' (menu) then either 'u' or 'd' (up/down). A message will be displayed. At the moment it's up to dedicated server owners to parse their log files for this, since each server has their own rotation.

It does not get locked at 60/80. It gets locked at 80/80. This is to prevent people constantly clicking connect. It drains server resources.
Just wanted to add that this is completely out of the NA server's hands. The lock and password to prevent rejoin spamming is a cRPG "feature" and cannot be modified or turned off.

And now they're stuck at 1.231 when 1.232 is out. It'd be helpful if the devs and server owners worked together when releasing patches. It would also be helpful if a new patch didn't get released 3 times in 2 days.
I agree some notice would be nice, but what can you do. NA Servers have been updated to 0.232.
