Closed Requests / [Unban] I don't always freeze my computer, but when I do, I get banned.

Earlier, I created a new character, Robert_the_Blind, which I was trying to level up on the EU2 siege server.
But twice I froze for a minut or so during an alt tab (checking equipement for the character when he was dead).

I saw I was kicked when I came back (normal I'd say), the second time, banned.
I never leech. Never. So I know how it might have looked like, but I ask you to unban me as soon as possible. Thanks.

Just though it would be cool to have another horse with an heraldic caparison showing the player's banner (like heraldic armors, and shields)...

cRPG Technical problems / throwing on cRPG 1

From what I've seen, throwing weapons don't show up on the equipement screen on cRPG 1. Have no idea why.

Still more than 80 people, and not a single throwing weapon on the field, so I guess it's a server bug and it doesn't come from me.

Hello everyone.

I come to you with a HUUUUUGE small problem, which I might not be the only one to have :
A friend of mine who will be my roommate for a little while, finally decided to start playing cRPG. He does not have a steam account and bought Warband from talesworld directly : so I downloaded the last version of Warband on their site, installed it so I would have 2 different versions of the game installed, one on Steam, and the Talesworld's one.

But it appears every character he creates is created on my account, with my key. I just can't dissociate the two accounts so that he can play without accessing all my stuff (he almost did "skip the fun", I would have lost 6 characters and 9 heirloom points... And I would have had to murder him, which would have lead to greater problems...), I don't know why.

Anybody has an idea ? He tried to create a Steam account, but can't activate Warband on it with the key he got from Talesworld.

I tried a lot of things, uninstalled and installed back both games, or only one : we even validated his key while logging on a Native server with his version of the game, but it didn't helped, when he created another character, it xas just considered one of my alts.
I searched this forum, and Talesworld's one, try to look for keys in the registry (Currrent user, software, warbandkeys), and it seems that I can have only one key registered on my computer at the same time...

Sorry to bother you guyz with that... The most simple thing would be to successfully activate his warband version on Steam, but he just can't... (he has a regular 4x4 key).

If anyone has a solution, I'd be most gratefull.

Suggestions Corner / Suggestion about Alts

Alts are still usefull, to try new builds, but still, I'm finding them to be kinda let behind, with the new market, and the coming of Strategus.
I was thinking : that it would be a good thing to allow our time invested in those characters not to be wasted, if we decide it was not worth it and we don't play this alt anymore :
You could get an option on your Alts that deletes it and :
- gives your main character half of its XP and gold
- gives your main character (gen-1) heirloom points (now that this is coded... If ppl have retired Alts)
> You lose the stuff but can sell it back before deleting the alt. You get back 1/4 of its original value on your main character.
> You don't lose all the time invested in it, yet you don't get back enough to allow abooze

Just a proposition, but still, that might be usefull to some players, and kinda fait if you consider the time we put in this game.
