Events & Tournaments / TEAM MELEE EVENT

5v5 and 2v2 Tournament
GRAB SOME FRIENDS AND FUCK SHIT UP SMASH BROS STYLE

RULES
1) No Ranged - this is about melee group fighting, not about shooting and kiting.
2) Skip the Funs Only
3) Limit 1 Crushthrough Weapon per Team 5v5 Only
4) Looms can be used - you took the time to grind for them, now use them.
5) Armor value is not to exceed 40k per player
6) No restriction on melee weapons used.
7) No cav in the 2v2, however limit one cav per team in the 5v5

8) First to 3 rounds of combat for the 2v2 (Best of 5).
9) First to 5 rounds of combat for the 5v5. (Best of 9)
Tournaments to be held during the second week of April, the 2v2 on Friday 4/12, and the 5v5 on Saturday 4/13. Events Starting at 9 pm EST.

Things To Include in Your Post
1) Whether you're doing the 5v5 or 2v2, Ideally teams of five can be broken down to two teams of two with one remainder
2) Team Name, Team Captain, and Members.


Prizes
Participation Prize:Everyone who signs up and shows up will receive 1 lp and 300,000 xp

First Place Prize
Team members who win the 5v5 or the 2v2 will receive: 20 million xp each, 3lps,  500,000 gold and the custom title Champion_of_Calradia. (nikkle must defend his title in a team setting now)

Second Place Prize
10 million xp each, 3lps, and 250,000 gold

Third Place Prize
5 million xp each, 2 lps, and 100,000 gold

If you happen to achieve the same place in both tourneys, then you get double the rewards.

As the event goes on there will be a randomized drawing of the people there for Event Items such as: Sandwich, Ronin Hat, and an illustrious Swordcane

RAGEBALL LEAGUE: GET YOUR RAGE ON



As the title suggests we will be setting up a Rageball League, because lets be honest, aside from battle this is the best game mode. So in the next week or so gather up your friends and create a team!

Rules and Regulations
1) NO ranged, get out of here
2) Teams of 6 with four classes (2 defenders, 2 forwards 1 goalie, 1 midfielder) with two alternates you may call upon
3) No loomed items
4) Skip the fun characters onlly
5) No rdming (however if you're fighting to work towards an objective, i.e move the ball downfield, thats good)

General Discussion / cRPG events: What do you want?

cRPG Events: A Sharpe and Lemon Extravaganza

Greetings fellow cRPGers. While the duel tournaments are great, and offer some much needed moxie to the cRPG community, after awhile they become a little bit bland. You can always figure out whose going to win, or at the very least, assume who will be in the top 5. With that being said, what are some events you would like to see occur? They can range from the wildly ludicrous, to deadly serious.

Additionally, the goal is to either have these events on a Friday or Saturday (every other week), before or after NA primetime. Primarily to give people a reason to come on before and after strat battles. In terms of rewards for winning the events they can range from loompoints to experience to a special item (such as a personalized donkey, that's faster than your ordinary donkey).

Above is a poll for the first event, be sure to vote for one you'd like to do, and be sure to post your own ideas too.

Im going to just post this in General Discussion, but knowing the forum admins its going to get moved.

Typically my ping is around 37-40 on NA, and about 100-110 on EU. For the past 4 weeks or so my ping has been A CONSISTENT 700. Any thoughts/ideas/solutions?

Even in the midst of servers being brought back up, Im still unable to connect to crpg servers; I mean I was able to play for less then 10 minutes, quit and went back to battle but couldnt connect.

Can't even connect to those crappy native servers
