During my second generation, will I have to pay upkeep starting out at level 1 or will there be another grace period until level 25?

Was purposefully teamkilled repeatedly by vieuxcrotter tonight on NA_2 Siege. He began kicking me originally inside the siege tower (while i was moving around, I wasn't afk), when i kicked him back he teamwounded me with his sword, followed me out of the siege tower and killed me. Screen caps below.

Later on, he saw me again in a melee ganking an enemy and after the enemy was killed near the flag he continued on swinging at me, killing me despite no enemies being present in the vicinity.

Realism Discussion / Should Pikes on Horseback be Legal?

Since the game isn't historically limited to medieval age, and gunpowder era armor and (non-gunpowder) weapons are considered acceptable, I would like to point out that Hussars used really long lances. (We already have hussar helmets, we just use the turkish name for them.) This being the case, should we really be banning people for using a pike on horseback?

The kopia lance was the main offensive weapon of the hussar. The lances were based on the Balkan (Serbian) and finally Hungarian lances except the Polish lances could have been longer and, like their predecessors from the Balkans and Western Europe, they were hollowed, with two halves glued together and painted, and even often richly gilded. They were commonly made from fir-wood, with the lance point being made from forged steel. They had a gałka large wooden ball which served as the handle guard. The hussar's lance usually ranged from 4.5 to 6.20 meters in length.

The length of the pike varried dramatically over history, but there were definitely pikes that were the same size as Hussar lances.

The pike was an extremely long weapon, varying considerably in size, from 3 to 7.5 metres (10 to 25 feet) long.[2] It had a wooden shaft with an iron or steel spearhead affixed. The shaft near the head was often reinforced with metal strips called "cheeks" or langets.

Historical Discussion / You guys do know that what we have as the "Chichak" hemets are from 17c. right?

It's really called a capeline helmet, which were commonly used by the hussars, (polish cavalry use them in Fire & sword FFS, how could you not realize this?). I know that chadz is against muskets and wants to stick to one historical period (pre muskets), so why the fuck are we adding morions and now these 17 century helmets to the game?

Suggestions Corner / Could a shield bash mechanic be added to crpg?

I'm just wondering because the animations for archers were changed in crpg, it seems like it'd be possible to add a shield bash animation as well. You could have the command replace the kick function for shield wielders, and perhaps add a bit of blunt damage.

Just curious if this is a possible / reasonable addition to the crpg experience. I know it'd make combat more interesting. Especially since we have bucklers in game already, and those commonly doubled as a nasty punching weapon.

Closed Requests / Banned for boxing on NA_Siege_Community. Unban Please

Hi all,

 I was playing today on NA_Siege_Community, having a good time. My brother came into the room and we started talking and I showed him how the game worked. We started talking about other things and I just ran my character around the flag and challenged some people to some boxing duels while waiting for the enemy. One of the people I punched was just standing at the flag looking like a leacher, he was actually an admin (he had GK in his name, didn't catch the rest). Anyway,  I wasn't reading the text in the bottom left corner because I was talking to my brother, 30 seconds after punching the admin he perma-bans me.

Not a kick, I've never been kicked on the server and have always had decent behavior. He just straight out busted out the ban hammer without even a kick. It seemed pretty excessive. I have no idea if there were any warning given in text, they're probably were but I wasn't reading because I was talking to my brother.

Anyway, I'm sorry for punching the admin, even though he was wearing heavy armor and I doubt it did any real damage to him. A simple kick would have been quite sufficient to get me to stop and I would have learned a lesson. But a full on perma-ban? It seems excessive, so I'm requesting to be unbanned here as my friend told me to go to the forums. It's a really fun server and most of the people have been really cool, it just doesn't make sense to perma-ban someone for doing something that's not even really that bad, most people on that server like to kill time with a boxing match or two, it's not like this sort of thing never happens on the server.
