I'm getting reminiscent of left-leaning articles on why Milo was banned from Twitter where there was no actual quote or argument to directly justify it, just after the act stuff.
best counter article i've seen:

Police are humans as well, we shouldn't forget how susceptible many of us can be to fear. He could have panicked at something stupid, even a thought, and fired as a knee-jerk reaction. This seems like the most likely case considering the baffling "I don't know" comment.
Not helped by the fact that people are now, actively trying to target police due to political establishment focusing massive hate on it. Many police are on edge.

When I was ten years younger and part of a different gaming community, one 15 year (American) kid asked the question. Why world hates United States?
Thing is, world don't hate United States. It is worse than that. Full blown hatred on United States would imply jealousy. Most Americans I had pleasure to chat with have pretty much same opinion, how outsiders are jealous of American success and hate America because of it.
Rest of the world don't think that America is the best country in the world and generally dislike it because USA tend to have their fingers in things that shouldn't concern them. No one likes police, not even Americans. Naturally, rest of the world don't like world policeman aka USA.
Best thing about USA, for me personally, are prices of tech. Rest, I can live without it.
Funny enough, the US is the generally voted as the "I want to live there most" country. Someone posted the stats on the forums, and I can't be assed to review it(So, we could just ignore this.)
It's so Isolated here from the problems of Europe, Africa, Asia. Since so much of NA and SA is based on the same general culture of Christian/Western Europe, there's far less instability from severe culture clash.

The Turkish leader was returning to Istanbul from a holiday near the coastal resort of Marmaris after a faction in the military launched the coup attempt on Friday night, sealing off a bridge across the Bosphorus, trying to capture Istanbul's main airport and sending tanks to parliament in Ankara.
A senior Turkish official confirmed to Reuters that Erdogan's business jet had been harassed while flying from the airport that serves Marmaris by two F-16s commandeered by the coup plotters but that he had managed to reach Istanbul safely.
"At least two F-16s harassed Erdogan's plane while it was in the air and en route to Istanbul. They locked their radars on his plane and on two other F-16s protecting him," a former military officer with knowledge of the events told Reuters.
"Why they didn't fire is a mystery," he said.
Really? A True coup, with Jets on his tail(even radar locked the plane a few times) and they don't fire? What kind of coup has the enemy in their sites and chooses not to pull the trigger....
