I went to download1.c-rpg.net and it has all the files, but I don't want to spend 3 hours to install them manually...

I actually tried using a Firefox addon that downloaded all the files and I did from there. It doesn't have them all though. It is missing the main folder files for example.

The WSE2 downloader actually calls on a server download4.c-rpg.net and he is just not up at the moment it seems.

[Edit] download4.c-rpg.net actually isn't found on the DNS. So the DNS is probably the problem.

Problem seems to be that the page http://download4.c-rpg.net is not up and running and the downloader calls for that. http://download1.c-rpg.net has all the files but the tool doesn't try to get it from there it seems.

Getting Incorrect Authorization Key error when trying to log on servers. Also if I try to search for C-RPG servers on the internet it doesn't find any of the offical ones. Game works fine on Native. Is it just me or?

Been seeing a lot of those lately. People see their team is loosing start a poll for Arena since they know it is mostly accepted and stall for time to keep their multi. Fix would be to make the map change when round ends or multis are reset when map is changed through voting.

Horse archery is already shit, either the two handers you are talking about do not know how to dodge, or were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

You should add a poll so people downvote the poll, and not you. :)

Guessing you play in US. Since in EU there are TONS of HX doing just fine :)

Reasoning is that it is silly to see 5 2-handers in the end get picked off by one HA when there are tons of shields around them. Everyone could hold one up. But it should have a big penalty to speed rating on the shield if you hold one without the proper skill.

Two suggestions here:

1. Make some kind of penalty on permanent record for team-hitting. Maybe it would be shown beside Kill/Death numbers. Maybe even go as far as make your items have higher chance of breaking that round. This would stop many (not all) players from taking very stupid chances. Like archers shooting at someone surrounded by his teammates.

2. Change the upkeep system so people don't have to think about the time while in battle. Stall for an extra tick and so on. Would recommend just giving exp/gold at end of round calculated to the second.

I decided to start over with a new main after 1000 hours of play and now have no MW items and the difference is staggering.

The extra 8 armor you get from gloves and body armor is like the difference from low medium armor and heavy armor. You can take about half the hits you could before.
Also the bows and crossbows which you would think are friendly to new players are almost useless without having them ranked up.

Examples:
Light Crossbow does 52 pierce total with Steel Bolts.
MW Light Crossbow does 65 piece total with MW steel bolts.

This makes them do about 13 more pure damage since armor had already been counted.

I really like the ranking system but the difference to me seems too great on certain items. Ranged and armors being VERY noticeable. New players are "forced" to use the more advanced weapons with high damage output by default to be able to do decent damage and are pushed away from all ranged items. This makes the game frustrating for them since they seem to be way worse players then they might actually be.

Fixing it would be simple. Upping the normal items and lowering the difference from ranking them up.

So I am pretty new to this game but I love it. Im currently level 23 but have respeced like 2 or 3 times so I have a good ammount of time played. Im still trying to figure out how to better myself in 1v1 situations. Im using a 1h and shield which I thought would be the best set up for 1v1s. Every time I block though the other person just throws another attack and I cannot get an attack in or else I will get hit. It seems like the only time I get kills is when I am with other people and I get hits it from behind or something. Any tips or tricks would be greatly apperciated!!!

Happened to me as well when I was new. You need to learn how to swing instantly something hits your shield. It takes practice. Get an Elite Scimitar. It's fast, hits hard and is harder then many other for the blockers to see.

Put all points into 1h wpf. Get Weapon master and even more if you feel like you swinging slowly. Remember that heavy armor slows down your swings as well.

For a new shield guy I would recommend 21 15 with 7 IF 7 PS 5 Ath 5 Shield 5 weapon master build or 24 15 with 8 PS 5ath 5shield 5weapoin master. I personally would go for the extra hp's but most here will probably tell you to go for more hits. But as a new player you want to be able to fail blocking a bit more then others.
