Dank long axe is just simply better than all polearms, needs some adjustments on the stats. Also they need some color adjustments, too bright as of now. New shield looks fucking great, love it.
Agreed, its stats make it quite potent. Yet another reason to never use the great long axe ever again as it grows ever worse (still no clue why it ever got nerfed in a semi-recent patch).who the fuck even made it

That axe is broke because there is no reason to use most of the other polearms.
2h version also have half assed stats, but that is not that bad like with polearm version.
But all of that is nothing when you look on that new shielld

Horses suck, that stats on them are joke, I believe all that stars are just joke and someone will change them soon.

Stats are off cause I added all the items on this patch :mrgreen:. I didn't really look at any other stats cause I was short on time, so didn't really do any stat balancing with the new items.

I really don't give a monkeyfuck about how happy you are with new gear, I only like playing. But you broke it.
You've added a pole-arm and a shield that make every one in their class redundant. I understand you are excited to put your new goodies in, but this is still a game we play, not just a showcase. Once again really disappointed that the basics are ignored and you continue to build a tower of sand.

I'd actually love to have a shovel as a peasant 2h or pole weapon. You can hit with the edge for paltry cut damage, or use alt mode to smack with the flat for weak blunt damage with knockdown!

I haven't had a look at the model yet, so I have no idea if the long dane axe should be focused on high damage output at the cost of speed (not that any weapon is ever balanced based off of its design, although that would be nice), but regardless here are my suggested stats:
Long Dane Axe
weapon length: 142
weight: 3.3
difficulty: 21
speed rating: 92
thrust damage: 18 pierce (should it be blunt? or cut?)
swing damage: 41-42 cut
slots: 2
Bonus against Shield
Take it for what you will.
I'm pretty familiar with shields. Since 2012. The huscarl and heavy board shield are already big as heck. Compared to those the viking shield is from another dimension. :) It's all good to have a nice big shield, a balanced shield of that size should have speed and weight like the steel shield to compensate. Either that, or a nerf in durability (hp/armor) would balance it.
