Title: The Defence of Yalen

The free city-state of Yalen is under attack by treacherous legions! Rally now and fight for the cause!

Why fight for us?
This town is more fun to defend than attack -- even more so than towns in general
Our gear will be fun and high-quality -- even more so than in our previous battles, and nothing should run out
We'll hopefully provide TeamSpeak to improve everyone's battle experience, if you're into that sort of thing
We'll pay everyone who shows up the full 1k gold, because why not

All we really cared about was making this game a little less boring, and that worked pretty well. This is the cherry on top, so we'd really like to have everyone actually present, or as close as we can manage. If you're not sure you can make it, don't apply and risk taking away the chance from someone who could actually play. We may consider those who haven't shown up for our past battles, but if you've missed or skipped previous Pub Crawl scuffles, you might have to contact me before I'll let you in.

Barring any such problems, please apply at your earliest convenience, and tell your friends! We don't stop hiring until the battle begins, so keep watching the listings, and remember that the fight's not over until it's over!

Legio, bring your A game, and let's make this a fight to remember! :)

Hey Okin, I applied (and got accepted) with my cav guy, not realizing it was a town and not a little village, I think my lvl 35 archer will be of more use :).

Well, we weren't the guys that did the last transfer so we can't be sure of what happened and surely wasn't our fault, it was quite depressing when it happened tough  :lol:

3 people checked that equip left to yalen, vovkas list of equip disapeared from char in guild menu where it shows everyone equip. So there was a bug or someone did it on purpose.
Something happened to me as well, when someone purchased equip on all money and made a lot of troops deserted the army. Now we had half of our clan as witnesses.

If not for this shit at yalen it would have never fell to pub crawl. We was wining by much until equip run out.

Apply earlier
Raise your level
Provide more detailed information about your build

Was fun, the attackers put on brave faces.. And the few that got alive upto the walls not pinned to the ground got hacked to pieces before they could think.

Well it is an tough castle anyways, i was xbowing and could hide and reload safely behind the walls  :)
Just annoying that i got the kickbug and spawned naked after that, wasted alot of time finding a sniper and ammo  :|
But the exp was awsome  :D

Italians are lazy you know.  Actually i think we came too fast, the only ones that killed someone were the archers.
Also, it's really hard to get to the walls or place ladders in so limited space, we will try shorter ladders next time  :P

Okin we understand that isn't fun to just camp and shoot in a siege, but next time please allow the attackers to take some time to discuss what to do and gather, it's not that we have to rush to the walls like kamikazes on speed.
