Title: What happened to damage?

I was playing this evening for a good two hours solid and collectively seen more bullshit than I have in the years I have played. I don't care about a weapons effectiveness, I pick my weapons based entirely on looks and animation. When the new weapons come out I used all my LPs to to get a Heavy great sword, 2h Warhammer and Bearded axe +3. Today I hit a peasant 3 times with my warhammer. A real peasant, no gauntlets or boots. Shirt and woolen cap. I hit a guy 5 times who was wearing a kuyak. I have 6PS and 181 prof. For two hours this has been the story. I am being 2 hit by little girls with sticks and I'm giving beatings to peasants that would make the hulk wince and I can't kill anything. I rode past an archer with a dagger on a heraldic horse, she did 75% damage to it with a glancing blow. I couched a guy in a leather vest and he didn't die. Something is very wrong.

Anyone else having these issues?

I've had to hit peasants in shirts 3 times with an Elite Scimitar and 7 PS a few times but I ascribed that to them being 45 strength fake peasants. There's probably a huge number of players rolling sick strength builds and the real peasants have mostly disappeared because you level so fast.

I think I'm partly to blame for this. My Muhammad Ali alt runs around almost naked, punching people. He's got 10 if and 10 PS though.

God, though, do I love plating that bastard up and diving into a hallway crowded with enemies, my fists flying. It takes so long to kill me hue.

The Two Handed Warhammer does less damage than what you might think, there's a reason why Bar Mace/Long Iron Mace have been, and still are less popular than Morningstar, even after the -2 speed nerf to the latter.

I still loomed one to +3 because it's a fun weapon though.

I also use a warhammer, but unlike you, I aint no sissy bitch. :D

my balanced build does great dmg and you aren't that slow.

36-9, 12ps, 11if and 3WM/athl.

usually don't need more than 3 hits, if its a build like yours i need max 2, if i don't 1hit you.

Get a shield str build, noob!

That doesnt do a fucking thing. Look at the damage calc. Your talking about 3 points if damage. The real problem is pierce stabs are ridicosly overpowered on any weapon.

It was found that damage upsets many players and confers an unfair advantage on the team that is able to deal more of it. Damage has been cut back with the revival patch, and may be completely removed in the next major patch. Some of the balance team consider it an obsolete and un-fixable mechanic, due to the TaleWorlds engine.

Just respec to polearm or 1h and spam stab, losin half hp to some 1h agi buckler nab stab or spammed to death by a poleaxe seems the way to die these days.
