Title: Cheap Black Company tactics- just like expected

So Black Company attacks my army!  Why, you ask?  Only because I told them to!  All I was doing was sitting in one of their sell fiefs waiting to attack heavily laden caravans.  They politely asked me to leave, but I said 'no, I have orders to be here; if you want me gone you better attack me!'  Which they did.

Not only that, but they did it at a decent time.  I know what you're thinking- why the hell did they attack you when they could have waited for a caravan to arrive and then let you attack it then reinforce it and have the advantage of defending?  And all I can say is 'that's typical Black Company'.  Instead of dicking around and being oh so cautious, they showed some balls and immediately attacked the threat.

So let's use this thread to bash these poor bastards who don't seem to realize strat is about being whiny bitches and who seem to have been infused with some sort of warrior spirit.  Boo on you, BC!

For anyone who hasn't merced under bryggan recently - his army has shiny gear like no other NA army. Plate armor, top tier weapons. It's a blast! Don't miss this fight (even if you are on Black Company roster). It's gonna be a good one.

It will be awesome!  I have gear for all classes, even throwing!!!  Poor forgotten bastards:(  And long bows- and even horn bows (for a despised HA, which I usually hate, but will love if they sign up for me).

But Smiling Daemon is heavily armed too, and no doubt has great gear as well.  So everyone should sign up, cuz if you don't I have 102 kittens and will one for every empty slot on the roster.

Yeah, plenty of horsies.  I had tears in my eyes when I changed my main from cav to a shielder because of the lack of horses in this strat.  I thought I'd be more useful as a shielder, but as anyone who seen me play...

And Black Company are the bad guys here.  I should show you guys the pms and steam messages I got!  No insults, no threats, no calling me 'ballz suking my old friendt'.  Just Gawain being very, very persuasive in trying to get me to switch sides (Gawd help us when he becomes a diplomat in real life- he'll probably convince us Canadians to become a vassal state to the US), and Kid A asking me 'what's up', then saying 'ok' when I told him.

So, I ask you, "Are we going to tolerate that behaviour?!"
 "Are we going to tolerate that behaviour!!!"
"HELL NO!"

Let's show this reasonable, fun-loving non-haterz what happens to people in strat when they make things impersonal and refuse to get butthurt!!!
(that being said, let's try keep the roster balanced so we can get all we can out of this battle)

No, because I don't consider lancer cav a class.  OF COURSE I HAVE $%@#$*& LANCES!  Nice +3 ones.

I also have shields and one handers for shielders, shields and polearms for hoplites, 2 handed weapons for 2 handers, one handers for swashbucklers, polearms for polearm users, long bows and arrows for archers, horn bows, arrows and horses for horse archers, crossbows for Xbow men, javelins for throwers and.. oh crap :oops: I don't have crossbows for HX.

So I have a fine variety of weapons, mostly masterworked, for all classes except horse crossbowmen.  Sorry horse crossbowmen :(  But for everyone else, I have selected several types of weapons for each class in order to make your battle more enjoyable.  Because here at 13 Knights, we put your needs first.  Except for HX.  Scru yu guys.

Hey it's a valid question.  Horses are pretty useless without lances, and I can't count the number of times I've fought in battles where there were horses, but no lances :)

It was more a hypothetical anyways, since the only time I can play now is at work, and there's usually no battles during the day.

Why would kesh downvote this? I mean, it's publicly out there that Bryggan was bought by Keshmit(or however you spell it) and he's under his "orders" U.O.N...

Sigh, I don't understand the vote+/vote- wars people do on this forum. Wouldn't you vote someone who you disagreed with(or otherwise?)

So after my victory, I got news from a super secret spy embedded deep in the Black Company hierarchy that a small caravan would be leaving Jelbegi Castle heavily laden with oodles of crates.  As it was late, we decided that the caravan would leave at 9:00 pm Eastern time Thursday night, and, as it was part of my mandate, I would attack it.  I was assured that there would absolutely, completely, never in a million chance that it would be very quickly and heavily reinforced after I attacked it, thereby giving Black Company a chance to avenge Smiling Daemon in a strategically superior defensive battle.

So I sat and waited.  And waited.  By the time it hit 10:30 pm EST I realized my spy, code named 'Bawain the Getrayer', must have made a mistake, and I could leave the area without dishonour by letting Black Company counterattack at a decent battle time having a chance to pounce on that juicy. defenseless caravan.

So, still being alive, my army is still under contract it was decided.  The contract is downright murky and ill thought out.  Kinda like someone jumped the gun on putting the deal out there....

Edit:  My super secret deep undercover spy told me the caravan had actually left the castle, but didn't move, so was buried under some white dots.  It just sat there.  In the shadow of the castle.  Not moving.  Almost like a lump of bait... Hmmm.

Well, sorry I didn't see it and moved on.  Black Company will have to bottle their uncontrollable rage for awhile (in fact, when I told them of my slip up, they said 'lol', which is an ancient Mayan word for 'Go eat shit ya noob').

I wish the servers were down before my last fight.  Then at least I'd have an excuse for not signing up for my own battle.
