So, uh, STALKER-ish online survival game, akin to DayZ?

This looks genuinly good, disregarding the theme.
This is about being straight out retarded. Children see in slow motion like owls.

Doesn't seem like stalker to me unless all you compare between a shooter and stalker is if it's russian or not.

Are there creatures, anomalies, artifacts or only people vs people?

Looks pretty good... but does the studio have any successful games out? And when is the release date?

The fact that they have shitty English on their official website isn't very promising, though...

I believe a few of the development team making this game also developed the STALKER games.

The original STALKER games had shitty English throughout as well, not an indication of anything.

Just because there is an exception doesn't mean it's not an indication. It definitely is an indication of professionalism and education. If your whole team has no one who can speak proper ENGLISH, then that's not a good sign.

They might run into a wall unless they dont hire a translator to translate it all into english, but thats about it. The quality of the code may still be high. Even with crappy english. If it doesnt damage the code, I dont really care if they spelled the word grenade with a K or the subs are so bad I cant understand the plot. It seems kinda cheesy anyway.

Obviously it doesn't "damage the code" but if a team of, say, 45 has no one who can speak English as well as a Scandinavian thirteen year old, then chances are that team doesn't consist of the 45 top geniuses of the country. The ability to speak English well correlates with intelligence, and although there are exceptions, the bigger the team the more unlikely it is that all the smart people in it are exceptions. That's disregarding the fact that crappy English is a pretty serious drawback when you want to sell (=market) your game to the English speaking world.

I wouldn't hire a coder that couldn't speak good English, it's a reflection of their coding skills as well.

Its a possibility  that they just halfassed it, when it comes to the market of the english speaking world.

I would hire a coder who cant speak good english. In my workplace we have a lot of competent coders. The guy who does the most complex shit cant speak or write english. Yet he pulls magic out of his arse. Dude just finds everything he needs instantly from english written documentations. And thats not really an exception. Seen it a lot before. I suppose it highly depends what code you exactly write.
