ultima/dota/path of exile online...  :D

Could be interesting... free to play... so pay to win?!  :|

EDIT: WHAT BENEFITS DOES A PREMIUM ACCOUNT GIVE ME?
Premium accounts grant several bonuses to your character, such as increased experience gain, increased max carry load, faster crafting and gathering speed, etc.

Hmm kinda look like a big bonus... hope that etc doesn't add even more...

maybe i'll try it... dunno if I can really quit EVE though  :P

A lot of people in the NA community know that Dach rages and in the process of his uncontrollable rage, he tends to kick people.

You've been warned!

All depends on the actual value of the boost. If it's like a 10-30% boost for premium I'd say its ok. Anything more than that (like 50-100% boost) basically means the game is freemium.

Bought the Epic Founder Pack so I'm testing the game now. Only played for about an hour yesterday, gathering resources and crafting shitty tools and weapons :D There's quite a lot of people in starter zones so the resources are low, will have to move a bit further so I can progress faster. Devs are very active on forums and they said they're opening new zones on map today due to so many people testing. I'll give a better review later, in the meanwhile take a look at this funny clip:

Game looks good for casual fun but i think developers can't figure out where they actualy stand.
The money they ask for alpha stage of a Browser Game makes me think they are on drugs.

Considering how much other publishers ask it's not really a surprise to see such high costs of founder packs. Heck, Trion had founder packs going up to freaking 150€ and they didn't have one finger in the development of ArcheAge.
Obviously, this is a new kind of cash grab, a way to get some money for development by providing immediate testing access to enthusiastic people. It's happening everywhere (M:BG as well, no?). It's almost always a waste of money, as well, unless you really want to test the game right now, and if that is of value to you.

Bumparino.

The Summer Access is starting June 29th and I'm really tempted to buy it. Apparently a lot of things have changed etc etc. Anyone play it? Thoughts?

I've already shared my thoughts but the sandbox gameplay is pretty okay, however the thing keeping this game behind is the fact that it's catered to tablets, so any kind of depth in combat is out of the question, which is a big shame, because otherwise the game overall would be quite decent.

Apparently they've expanded on the combat this test and have skill shots and more instant casts so there is less standing around channeling and more movement.

If you die, do you lose everything you had in your inventory?
