Here's the outside of my fortress, how it looks in 3D (done with Armok Vision)

As you can see, we have big amount of trees in the area, which are quite ferocious. (i.e they are responsible for 2 woodcutter deaths at this point)

ALSO, my dwarves have made a few statues.
Two relating to my woodcutter's death:

Enraged, my military rushes out and eliminates the threat, Asen Fikodzimesh furiously biting the cyclopess and stabbing her in the head.

The entrance to the fortress courtyard, as you can see I've added ramps to walls and fortifications onto the walls, so my marksdwarves can shoot the incoming enemies from above while the citadel guards clash with them in melee.
