Heirlooming does increase an items value, but that's only used when you sell it.

So after I carefully redistributed my heirloom points chads goes and changes the horse bonuses... I really wish I could redistribute them again, they need some sort of system similar to the one in WoW where we would pay 10,000 gold for the first redistribution, 50,000 for the second, 100,000 for the third and so on. Either that or please stop changing heirloom stats immediately after letting us redistribute them.

I don't. I agree with the previous poster. It makes little sense to allow heirloom respecs because you changed item stats, only to wait a couple days for people to spend their heirloom points, and change item stats again. If that isn't trolling, I don't know what is.

People choose their items to heirloom based on stats. Changing those stats, but then saying "Oh, well we got extra hp though" is not really a valid argument. If people wanted more hp, they would have heirloomed a horse with more hp.
