It doesn’t all end when you log out of this RPG either. Your character remains in the world and will continue training skills, selling items or producing goods, effectively becoming an NPC to everyone else on the server. Other players can interact with him or her, and can even abduct you to sell you on for their own profit! This isn’t just online gaming, it’s true role-playing.

Basically the character trains until you run out of cultivation, which comes out of XP. But that goes out pretty slowly. You will still do your "offline job" and earn some money though.

So I tested this Gossip thing and it seems pretty interesting. I talked to different NPCs to get gossips and triggered a random event, whereas I had to go to the inn to buy rice wine, have a drinking game with a certain NPC and that NPC then gave me a note with the location of a secret cave. Went there, killed a few snakes, looted a chest at the end. Was pretty fun.

Also noticed that you can give gifs to NPCs, which improves your relationship with them. Not sure what the relationship "meter" is used for though

My trial time has apparently ran out as well and it would be pretty stupid to pay for NA version of the game, if I'm waiting for EU + I want to leave some discovery/learning-the-game fun for EU release

The reason you're seeing so much cyrillic is that I found out that there's also a russian version of the game, which is currently in Open Beta and it means free to play for everyone, no time limits and no character wipe.

You play on russian servers with the russian client that is translated to English with a simple trick. Here's a short guide on how to play on russian servers:

Install the game.
In the install game location ( example : C:\Program Files (x86)\KFgame\res , mine windows is 64 biti, if yours is 32 then u have C:\Program Files\KFgame\res ) u have 3 files that must be moved to other location ( make a folder backup, and move them there) :
gui.package
icon.package
text.package

After u do that, download the english file version, and put them in res folder: 
*you can copy paste the above 3 files from the NA version of the game as well, if you have that installed (folder Age of Wushu\res)
**make sure you run the patcher and patch the game first, then copy paste the gui, icon and text.package

Apparently there's also an english guild on the RU server, so you'll have some "normal" people to talk to :p

I formulate a new question:

Is it save that I will always be able to play on the Russian servers with an english translation? Because having to learn russian at some point after a big update or something would be pretty, well, impossible.

Well it's not 100% safe, but I don't see a reason why you shouldn't be able to keep your client in english. I'm going to reroll on European servers when they go into Open Beta anyway, just playing here to learn the game without time limits

Ho man, finally a MMO that understands how badly I want to make synchronized dancing with other people when in cities. And also that typing "\dance *" just doesn't cut it.

I managed to run the russian version on russian servers. But for some strange reason the game always is in windowed mode, no matter what I do.

EDIT:

I manged to run fullscreen mode, but now I´m stuck at the task where you have to get a sandbag from behind the martial arts school.

It says "Inspect the glowing skeleton". Theres a skeleton, but it does not glow and I can´t inspect anything. 2 other russian guys are trapped together with me and also don´t know what to do. wtf.

Get close to the skeleton, at which point the quest says that the person that died here mustve dropped the book somewhere else, look to the other side of the cave and you'll see a book you can loot

Btw how did you manage to run in fullscreen mode? Everytime I run it's in Windowed mode and I have to manually change it in game every time I start the game

Getting close to the skeleton doesn´t trigger a new event, thats the problem

I think I just switched between fullscreen and windowed mode like 15 times and it worked at some point.

Still stuck? If nothing works you could just remake the char. Me & Bifi are playing on RU server and just joined up with the english guild called Yorozuya. When your inner skill level is at lvl 5, go to guild administrator and apply to join

Yeah, my guild is migrating to EU once it opens up. Should be in February/March they say.
