I'm assuming none of us personally were involved in WWII and the atrocities committed during the war.  I'm pretty sure most of us have never personally committed a war crime or act of terrorism.  I'm pretty sure none of us are in a position of power to decide if our country goes to war or not.

As much as I hate to agree with Zlisch he is right. The Genocide of the native Americans was a European beginning, the diseases, then the new american people decided to finish the job under the guise of manifest destiny. Every nation has a list of bloody conflicts and massacres, it is just ours (america) are more recent while the others are considered history.
