Walk Animation Client Side?

I was walking casually to battle, when Andswaru told me that he could walk faster than I could run.. But I was walking? Apparantly the walk animation appears to be client side.

Screen: Me and Andswaru both using the walk key, I am doing the walking animation, he is doing the running animation while walking.

Not sure if you really need em for this.

I'm not retreating, just advancing in another direction!

AFAIK it can't be done without fucking up everyone not running the new client, but I'll give it one more try.
Worst case I'll fix it after this goes live.

is it also possible to make walking itself a standard speed? would be a nice feature so we can all walk together, in a shield wall for example, currently from this example me and serfonz had different walking speeds.
Smooth is the admin NA deserves. Not being that much better, EU deserves Thomek.

Fixed in 26.07.11. If it happens again, open a new thread.

About standard speed, I'm gonna look into that.
