As soon as I get the message "Downloading map 0kb", I can no longer move and enemies walk the same path over and over again.
crpg_beta_config.ini and the crpg_beta_log.txt

How long did you wait? This might only happen until the map is finished downloading. At least this was the case for me.

1+ minutes, usually the download is finished in around 10-20 sec

Yeah, it stops a bit after you're done downloading, but it shouldn't happen anyway. It should be showing the scoreboard instead.
Gonna look into it.

PS: your links don't work (I don't really need them in this case, just thought I'd let you know)

Problem with the eu6 maps in general :

Funny thing, i exit. Launch the cRPG version, and there, the name for the eu6 map is totally different, and no download needed. But the different name was strange.

Last post bug was introduced in .9 and fixed in .10.
First post bug is still unfixed, AFAIK.

Just want to make sure, this freeze or constant repeated animations during downloading a new map is intentional ?
