In other news, I downloaded the patch today, logged on NA_1, mowed down 4 or 5 people with ease and quit before the round was up, so bloody content that I'm no longer shooting nerf darts. No longer using a gimp build with a gimp bow anymore, yay!

We need to get the Archer Squad together, start drilling tightly again. Enough of us are archers again that I would like to start rebuilding what we once had.

Hehe, certainly our EU cav, but our NA cav needs a lot of practice for the most part =P

Oddly enough though we are turning into heavy shielder infantry on the NA side, for the most part.

Heavy shielders? Do you mean strenght build turtles? Not so wise in my opinion. Either stack agility or take a classic 18/18. I used to play as 1h shielder when I was a total nab, but after I got into polearms and cavalry, turtling just didn't feel fun anymore... I have played/tried pretty much every class there is except horse thrower because they are just so miserable and I always secretly giggle when I see them on the server :D.

No I meant heavy armour, heh, as in kuyaks or heavier (such as my Rus Scale). I'm a 21/18 build and some of our other shielders have even more. I used to be alright with just 5 AGI for shielders, but after using 6 with the pick the extra speed is just bliss. I find my shield lasting substantially longer by simply dancing better.

Never had any trouble killing someone. Of course they nerfed both my arbalest and mace terribly.
