I miss those maps too, especially the swamp map. I wonder why there was only one of those.
Anyway it would be nice to have at least some of those old ones added in rotation.

Here's another slightly tweaked version of sounds.txt for more metal sounds mod, with original victory/defeat sounds (bugged me when you couldn't hear the sounds while tabbed out). I used Trikipum's file as base so it has same modified grunts.

Following default sounds are brought back:
 your_flag_taken.ogg
 enemy_flag_taken.ogg
 your_flag_returned.ogg
 you_scored_a_point.ogg
 enemy_scored_a_point.ogg
