Game Balance Discussion / Make the Riding and Athletic skills require both Agi and Str to develop

This way, horse archers will be capped at 5 ridding if they want their 15/24 build and horse crossbowman will have to invest in strength instead of going full agi like currently. Also, run and gun archers will be affected as they wouldn't be able to outrun everything else like they do currently. Mostly agi characters will excel in weapon proficiency and don't forget that AGI innate ability is increasing running speed and acceleration. Balanced builds will be the ones with most athletic and ridding and not many people would have more than 6 in either skill which will indirectly nerf cavalry and ninjas, which is good.

Even before the patch - with over the top side sword - elite scimitar was one of the most used 1h weapon (with 31c). In this patch, it got buffed to 32c and is most often used 1h sword. Make it a on par with other 1h swords, don't make it automatic choice for power gamers.


Compared to NCS it have 2 more speed and 2 less reach (and lack 21p thrust, i assume it's a bonus as 21p is useless) and require 2 less strength.

Solution:
-increase it's requirement by 2
-decrease it's either speed by 1 or damage by 1

I'll buy either Mail Mittens or Red Tassel Spear (both +1). I'm willing to offer 300k gold for either. I can trade my +1 knightly kite shield and 300k gold for +2 mail mittens or red tassel spear.

Game Balance Discussion / Make all long weapons non-sheathable

Make all 2h weapons above 110 range and all polearms above 135 unsheathable (as a rule of thumb, those with heavy head would be non-sheathable even with slightly less reach, think 120) and made all of them (except those really long ones who should take 2, starting from say 181 length and flamberge) take 1 inventory slot.

Make all 1h swords above 100 range take up 2 inventory slots.

This change would decrease power level of cavalry, as their weapon selection will be thinned down.
