Only 2 things:1. You are conseqently mixing up realism and game balancing things. 2. You completely ignore that Thomek stated in his post that in his Opinion "cRPG players will never learn to operate effectively as an organized force". If this is true can be discussed, but you just ignore things and thus your argumentations are ... not useful at least.

I only played for a short time and I thought it was more difficult to stab (especially horses) with my 2h, too. But I put the blame on my low wpf and agility stats.
so what, has there really something changed, and if, what exactly, the radius, the speed, the reach? Would be great to know. thx.

I don't want them to fix problems that I don't see as problems because right now I think the upkeep cost is perfect.

approving this message. I had thought about posting a similar thread as well.

It is good that you all have your opinion but I'm really astonished again how fast you all are in making an ultimate judgment. I'm used to it though, was similiar in warband beta though we were a lot less back then of course.

I have some doubts as well regarding the patch. For example I really question if it is a good thing that extremely good players get a bonus so that they even get an additional advantage. But lets play it a week or so and see how it turns out, man.

Actually, a player I know had the reverse idea :

Make strategus battles work like SP battles, with grouped reinforcements.
never played strategus and allways imagined it would be this way!

ยง6: All fights are to the death. If cavalry is dismounted they continue fights only sidearms within their weapon category. If ranged run out of ammo they loose. Ranged cavalry run out of ammo they loose.

small fun idea: add barbarian-style "bearskin-armour" or something similiar which dont have a normal "armour" value but simply add a few hitpoints.

whats the point? they would have a different function than normal armour, compared to normal armour less vulnerable against blunt or pierce but less protection overall.

not necessary at all, but I would like it and would be a way to implement attractive low to med-tier armour.

already been asked for a few times. provisional answer: chadz don't like TDM (what did u said, it feels like 1990?), but maybe it will be done. Do not count on it before the next three patches.

btw, I'm all for it. Love playing TDM from time to time.
