On a serious note, spam has been already dealt with by lowering WPF, for example with 6 WM @ lvl 31 before patch you had 180 WPF, now you have 150 WPF. It's a big difference.

I retired with no bonus at 30 yesterday, keep in mind that 30-31 is as much XP as 1-30

You don't factor in the fact that leechers don't actually WANT to play. They just want the gold or xp. To that end, being naked makes perfect sense

I played roughly 6h yesterday using the same gear:

Light Strange Helmet   888
Light Strange Armor           1298
Light Strange Boots           182
Wisby Gauntlets           2424
Tempered Nodachi           7942 (pretty sure the price display here is wrong though)
------------------------------------------
Total                                 12734 (closer to 15k with the actual price for the nodachi)

I made ~20k gold in 6h. And I wasn't even trying to farm, I just enjoyed playing with that gear

You can easily help your team win with little investment and STILL farm gold.

Those are the 50% prices that you get for selling, real prices used for upkeep are x2. So you actually played with 25k worth of equipment and still earned money, exactly as I said in my previous post

The current upkeep system is fine, you can upkeep ~25k worth of gear and still earn gold even if you always stay at x1. That's more than decent, you can get light mail armor + an elite weapon of choice.

In order to discourage leechers I think the two XP/gold gain systems should be combined. For example, lower the global xp/gold gain to 500xp/25gold per minute at x1 and add the old AoE XP/gold gain from the old version. This way people who actually fight and help their team win get full XP/gold while leechers get only half and maybe stop leeching.

Cool to see heirlooming back up, sucks you cannot change your name though. I kind of liked that feature maybe make it an option to change your name if you heirloom with the bonus?

You can always pay 1000g and apply for a namechange.

You forgot the PD damage bonus. With PD 6 correct numbers would be at least x2 from yours.

-Make polls cost gold (500 gold or so), there is nothing more annoying than a random poll popping when you are in the middle of a fight.

If you choose Retirement Without Bonus you simply delete your character. Your heir is generation one and receives no equipment whatsoever. Just done it.

That's bullshit, I did it this morning after it was released and your xp is reseted to 0, nothing else changes. You are still the same generation as before, keep all your stuff and gold.

This is a great patch, it brought me back after the old version made me quit 2 months ago. Now I can't wait for the strategus patch and wipe, for me cRPG is where you develop your char for strategus battles, strategus is the main game.

When you retire you start at lvl 1 again right(or is it auto lvl 30)?

If you started at lvl you could have just lvled a 2h sword character up to 30 and had a polearm guy and a 2hander lvl 30 with different stats.

You start at level 1.

Yeah, I could have done that, but no heirloom

And leveling is so fast anyway, I played for about 4-5 hours and I'm already level 20.

Right now it seems pointless to retire before lvl 31.  Please explain why should retire before 31!

I just retired at level 30 earlier today. I was polearms and with the heirloom reset i was able to change my heirlooms to a 2H sword and naturally i needed to reset my stats. Level 30-31 is 4 mil xp, that's as much as level 1-30 so IMO retireing at lvl 30 with no bonuses was worth it for me.
