Suggestions Corner / Re: Any chance of a "Repair All" button...

Nah, it's not a matter of not being able to pay bills.  Little over 1/2 mill in the bank for the moment.  But for anyone who likes to repair manually, it's kind of a pain filing through a ton of items though to find what you want to repair so you can get back to whatever battle you're in.

Strategus General Discussion / Re: Strategus FAQ

Thanks very much for posting this Shik!  Our faction is bran new to cRPG & Strategus, so naturally we've had a ton of questions that haven't been easy to find the answers for.  Appreciate you putting this together man.

You're also coming from the perspective of an experienced player.

You already know how to fight, who you should avoid, how to stay alive longer. You also know what equipment is worth buying and when.

Why should a new player be punished for wanting to experiment?
That's a good point.  Having come from Native and just entering cRPG there were alot of new weapons and armor to get used to both using and fighting against.  Just completed Gen 1 and I bought a shitload of stuff just to try it out.  Of course picking up items off the ground is a decent way to give things a shot too.  But most times you just wanna buy something so you can try it out longer than one spawn.

I currently wear less than 25k gear, and still the only way to make money is to have my repairs turned off.  There are some tough guilds out there that I usually end up fighting against, which of course causes a nice roll of x1's. =)  Not complaining at all - I know that's how it is starting out.

Welcome to cRPG guys  :D
I heard from a couple of our members that you use our banner slot in cRPG (for cRPG only).
Here check this site out http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,2990.0.html
There you can apply with your own special banner  :D
Thanks for heads up, Bjarky - we've remedied this situation temporarily with a different banner until we get our own.  We have it built already, just need to get it added.

What's up guys, I've seen you around a few days on the servers.  It's good to see some new faces.  You should join Strategus if you haven't already.
Hell yeah Haleth!  Couple of us are trying it and getting things figured out in there.  Fought a couple battles as mercs.  Working on gathering some troops.  Looks like it'll be fun.

Thanks for the welcome, Thovex, Gnjus (Hyglak/Herger), okiN!

We're definitely having a blast in cRPG even though we pretty much just got started.  Tough going at first, as usual with most new ventures, but we'll get it going strong soon.

This is probably the most addictive mod ever!  Much Kudos to the creators!

cRPG Technical problems / Can't login; can't create new char
« on: July 11, 2011, 07:41:16 pm »
Buddy of mine is trying to play Warband right after the patch.  He had made a character before the patch, but never logged into c-rpg.net.  When he goes to the site and tries to login using the front page with his character name or the 'update login' link, he gets "Invalid Login" on both.

So I told him to just make a new character and try to login after he plays for a couple of minutes, but when he tries to make a new character and join any of the cRPG servers he gets kicked immediately with a message; "Cannot create a character on this server, go to an official server."

So he's kinda stuck with a chicken before the egg problem.  Can't login to his old char and can't make a new char to log in with.

cRPG Technical problems / Friend can't login - can't change PW
« on: July 06, 2011, 07:17:09 am »
Hey guys, need some help here.  I have a friend that played cRPG like a year ago and has now come back, but can't login or even change password.

He's created alt chars, logged into a cRPG server for a couple minutes, then tried to log into c-rpg.net with the new name and password, but no luck.

Any ideas how to fix this besides getting a different serial key maybe?

For admins, if any of you can delete his characters and reset his passwords maybe, he's pretty sure his main name was Slovis, and now he's created a bunch of alts to try and reset PW, starting with Slovis_.  He said his highest character is only like level 10 so he has no problem just deleting everything if that's what'll take to get back in.

Yeah, your characters follow your Warband key, so even if you don't use Steam, just install Warband on the other PC with the same key, and like Diggelz said, just create a character with the same name and you're good to go.

Just an FYI for anyone else who needs to do this without Steam...

Your characters follow your Warband Serial key, so just install Warband on whatever PC or Laptop you plan to play on, install cRPG, and 'create' a character with the same exact name as the one(s) you play on your other PC.  You don't have to worry about fixing the face or anything since that's already saved on c-rpg.net.

Next, log into c-rpg.net, then in the cRPG mod log into your new (same) character that you played on your other PC and everything should be there soon as you enter your 1st battle.

I had to do this with a PC / Laptop combination so I know it works.

+1, this is a god idea.

Post in suggestions corner
Yeah no joke, I would've loved that option.
Also, in answer to your earlier question, I wanted to put my remaining points in XBow after getting Polearm up to 140.  I accidently threw them all into facking Thrown. =/

'Preciate all the answers though.  I guess I'll take his gimp-ass to 31 and retire to start all over.

Yeah, I did it... lvl 25 and was holding some WPF points cuz I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to put them in just yet.  Then once I played with the calculator and figured it out, I totally put them in the wrong thing.  Any way to pay gold to get them back or do I have to start all the way over again??
