Of course we will support Vendetta, yeah we don't have interests in NA lands anymore but i doubt we could stand being Neighbours of kapikulu, they were always very unfriendly to us.

Kapikulu are EU you know, you could ask them the same thing :P. And as far as legio is concerned the war is over, we just abandoned the NA fiefs,and when they asked nicely for one of those fief we said to attack rduna and that was empty

I was one of the worst Strat addict here, still i had to took a break (from crpg as well) now i'm returning to do some battles and crpg. The problem is that there isn't really an alternative for me, other games are boring, probably because i like to play with my clanmates and crpg is the only game that everyone shares.
No offense to developers i appreciate their work and we can't really pretend anything since we are getting this great mod for free, but on strat, the amount of time and effort needed to assemble a decent army and doing things right, and the clumsy rules and interface make most players unable to partecipate.
Game is getting older and old bugs and problems are still here, while everything is more difficult to do then strat 1.0.
Also the battles especially in the first half of this strat were bugged as shit and battle screen is always flooded by fake or naked battles. Just some of the many things that is turning us down. Not to mention the wispread multiaccounting  :(

Stop it at 2:12, the ice block is pre-cut for the "samurai sword" Using this term also makes it very professional and accurate.  :)

Also the longsword isn't used properly to cut against what is claimed to be "leather armor"

I'd go on and on but we pointed stuff out like this on IRC a few times, cba to re-write everything.

So how much people tried it? I'm really liking it, it's the most polished release paradox ever made.
Also it seems stable in multiplayer. Unlike every other paradox game, we played for 4 hours without any out of sync or other issues.

I could arrange a pickup game, like 1 night at week, with little basic rules and no obligations. You can play one night and then some other will take your dynasty the week after (or if you want you can take it back, or it stays AI). So we avoid the organizational burden of more serious games.
I think with this game it's doable, if Germany is afk in hoi3 you can't play, but in this game you could play easily even with an AFK holy roman emperor. AI is quite smart and you are not able to steamroll anything because you need casus belli for wage war, and you can ask only one province or a duchy most of the time. Anyone interested?

Right now the battle is set for 15 rounds, we'll see how it goes.

No , battlegroups doesnt allow to set char specs, only equipment, type of battle (siege,CTF etc) and the server =).
Oh. Zulus vs english is less doable then, not many trowers around atm  :cry:

I think  continuing on this nerfs and counternerfs to try to balance out server classes ratio just doesn't lead to anything. Balance was ok before those patches, it needed some refinement (removal of ladders first of all) but it was still way better then native.
Only the classes ratios were wrong, there were simply too much people with xbows and bows to make it fun for melee players.
Best solution would be set classes limits that every server can change, but dunno if it's technically doable.
So melee server will have 100% infantry, there will be free servers with no limits and other kinds of servers with custom limits (for example  50% infantry 30% ranged 20% cav)

If not we'll just continue like this endlessy. For example too much Ranged? OP nerfs that destroy their will to play and forces to change classes. In my clan already 5 guys changed from ranged to melee.
And we are talking only about a temporary solution to classes ratios, because the moment you will buff ranged again i'm sure everyone will just come back to their favourite classes.

Sounds an awesome idea and good way to see the new battlegroup mode, i'll definetly subscribe and wrote about this event on our forum, i think some other legio will join and they will prefer knights but not sure yet.
How much do you think the event will last? People will be able to join and exit when they want or it will be more like a clanwar?

Oh and ofc vote ZULUS VS BRITISH for the next battle! Xbows could be the rifle while bayonets well, maybe awlpikes or just give swords to british. Zulu ofc trowers with spear and crappy shield. Pure awesomness!

P.s: Does battlegroups mode allow also to set char specs of everyone or something like that?
