This was already suggested before and was explained that the warband engine doesn't allow that. They have a complicated reason for it.

Your basing that off of seeing one or two of the best NA/EU archers.
On the other hand, a scrub 2h or polearm can EASILY top the scoreboard.
I've probably seen 2 archers top the scoreboard in the past couple days.
