WSE2 Beta / [BUG] Wrong position of the character-list

Hello.
I noticed, that the character-list (when you click on your characters name in the character menu) appears in the wrong position on the screen.
It's just a litle graphical issue and I think it is worth to report it.

Here is a screenshot.

This happens at the end of the round, if you are dead or in spectator mode while moving arround with the camera.

This is probably not a launcher related problem (I havent tested it with the crpg launcher), but I though it would be good to post.

If Water Reflections is set to "Sky, Landsape", then also the refection of scene props will be rendered and not only the sky and landscape. So renaming it to "Sky, Landsape, Objects", or adding this option would be fine.

I pm'ed cmp to report this bug, but we have to create an own thread for each bug.

Closed Requests / Why I'm banned?

Hi admins.

10min ago I tried to join the EU servers, but each server told me that I'm banned from the server.
...But dont know why.

My internet connection crashed while I was playing on EU_2,
so I dont got any information why I'm banned.

Please tell me the ban reason and how long I will be banned.

Since I'm developing my own mod Batte of Europe, I have no time to update this mod for each cRPG patch.


Hi guys.
This is my first cRPG mod and I post it in this board, because there is no mod board.

So this mod replaces the "ugly" flying missiles with real flying arrows and bolts.
It also replaces the flying missiles of the siege equipment(when you throw it) with the correct models(Ladders, Shields, etc.).

The new animated quivers with full ammo and new arrows (only version"a" includes back-quivers).

New animated bolt bags with full ammo and new bolts.

The new realistic arrow-size (new=85cm - 88cm, old=102cm - 107cm) also fits better to the animation.

I also made new animated models for the hunting- and heavy crossbow.

cRPG Technical problems / Power Draw above 5 reduces wpf

I made a test about Power Draw and took screens from the crosshairs of different settings.

- PD decreases the accuracy
- PD decreases the draw-speed
- PD also decreases the draw-time

But this all happens only if PD is over 5.
PD under 6 increases all these things.


I hope you devolepers fix this bug soon.

Game Balance Discussion / Power Draw in cRPG

Hi all.

I'm actually playing one generation as STR-Archer and im confused about PD in crpg.
The damage is the only good thing about PD, the rest is worse.

- PD decreases the accuracy of your bow
- PD decreases the draw-speed of your bow
- PD also decreases the draw-time of you bow

But this all happens only if PD is over 5.
PD under 6 increases all these things.

So I made a test about Power Draw and took screens from the crosshairs of each setting .
I tested the short bow with 1PD, 5PD and 10PD.
I also tested the long bow with 6PD and 10PD.
For both bows I used 138 wpf in archery.

As you can see...
5PD increases the accuracy of the short-bow a lot, but 10PD decreases it again.
The long-bow doesn't get any bonus (without damage) from PD.
PD decreases the accuracy, speed-rate and draw-time.

I dont understand why the developers changed PD this way.
Especially the high end bows are needing a bonus from PD,
because they are inaccurate and slow as hell.

Power Draw should increases the accuracy, draw-speed and draw-time of all bows :!:
It is totally unrealistic, if it stays the way it is.


By the way...
I think the draw-time of all bows should be raised a lot
The 0,5 sec window in which the crosshair is accurate is way to less.

I'm a real archer and I made my own 90 pounds english-warbow and arrows...
and im able to draw the bow for 15 sec and then I'm aways able to shot accurate.
So I know what I'm talking about :wink:

Its not in the warband-texture folder and its not in the crpg-texture folder.
