General Discussion / Need help with random freezes.

Ok so I require some help on this.

To put a long story short, when im playing crpg I get these horrible split second freezes where the game appears to pause, or be loading something, and then it suddenly speeds up and everything is back to normal speeds again.

But then after a period of about 10-60 seconds it might happen again, sometimes it happens continually throughout a round.

Since this last patch it has become unbearable to the point of making crpg an unplayable mess. Now I cannot understand why it is like this, other modules in M&B do not do this, native does not do this.

And I have little to no problems in any other game. My pc is more than powerful enough to run this game, yet im running in dx7 in the poor and weak hope that it might have solved the problem, it has not. It also has nothing to do with ping as I usually run a stable 30+ ping on any EU server.

So if anyone could help me with this and possibly pinpoint the problem and can come up with a solution I would be extremely grateful.

Im posting this here because I believe it needs to be seen as I have heard others experiencing the same problem, to a greater or lesser degree.

Ok so everyone got their's I want mine.

I am Pebble_Pusher and frankly I like where the other throwing weapons are at the moment, they are pretty balanced without being too hard to use, but the stones are awful.

I cant get used to the slowness and bizarre inaccuracy of them, I can throw spears faster. 

All I ask for is one of two things either:

1) Make their projectile speed back to what it used to be

             or

2) Make the character throw them a little faster, not so fast that we return to the stunlock days, but fast enough that one miss doesnt equal death.

I know stones and peasant gear is always going to be hard and it always has been, but right now between the odd skipping of the servers and the changes made recently, it's become perhaps too hard.

I just like to see different builds once in a while that's all.

If you think it is selfish of me and arrogant to expect something to be balanced JUST FOR ME, then think about the majority of the people who come on these forums and demand that things are balanced just for them.

The only difference is that many who do that, complain or ask for the same things and so they get it, I mean they arent thinking about the state of the game or it's merit as a medium of entertainment, it's all about them and them alone, it just so happens by coincidence that they happen to be in vocal agreement with each other.

But the core point is they got what they wanted and as far as I am concerned I would like to get what I want.

I was playing on Pecores just now and Wolves_Panos_the_Sinister was deliberately riding into people and damaging them then pretending he wasnt while telling those he rode over they couldnt do shit.

I was actually on an alt but not on his team, but I saw the complaints from others and got these screenshots from Templar_Nubcake:

General Off Topic / Nditions teamspeak.

Wasnt sure where to put this, so I stuck it here.

Anyhow im having a lot of trouble getting onto the TS for games of crpg, it seems I can only get on at one period during the day and the rest of the time it comes up with the message: Failed to connect.

Now im curious, was the server location moved or something? Because this has only been happening recently and all my other servers work with no problems.

Any ideas? Google didnt help one jot. At least none of the other suggestions on other forums or the TS website did.

Spam / OK elephant in the room,

..........or rather an elephant that everyone sees and discusses but not enough in my opinion.

OK so how about that getting hit through block stuff huh?

Frankly im skeptical as to whether or not I or others are even really getting hit through blocks or more that it is a serverside problem.

See ive noticed, especially on the bigger servers, that the more people you have the more often these.....discrepancies appear.

Now before you blow your load all over me about how im just a bad player, im more than willing to accept my own mistakes when I play, in fact I revel in them because they allow me to grow and be a better player.

What im not too pleased with is knowing that I moved the mouse right, knowing that I pressed that right mouse button and kept it down, knowing that that attack is coming from the right, his/her left, and then seeing "errk" crumple at knees into a ragdoll.

My face then becomes this:

So far, so nerd rage. Incidentally that is eczema on my forehead dammit.

So maybe it was me afterall!!!.

Frankly I don't want to create an excuse for people to use any more than I want Gorath in my house balancing my games.

However I do usually see my own mistakes, but id love for someone to test this with my so I can prove/disprove it once and for all.

Into this:

So come on in, is it plausible, or just another way for those terrible peasants to whine?

Ok simple question, the english bill is an entertaining and useful weapon, especially for teamwork.

Now my question is: Should it get a bonus vs shields? It looks like it ought to, but im just curious about other opinions.
