Sounds comedic Plumbo. Maybe try to have fun with it? While I can say I have yet to experience these reports of server lag, the only thing I can't verify is the attack directions switching sometimes, since I poke 24/7. I'm probably up to 12 hours playtime since a few days ago. Give her another go?

Just reinstalled. Twenty people online at midnight on a weekday, not terrible. No lag to speak of, but 20 people isn't much of a stress test. I don't see what all the hubbub is about, but I've only played 10 mins. Anyway, WSE seems to be working for me again so I shall return.

As I wait for CMP I've done several things... the most interesting of which was remove the WSE folder to try a fresh install of it, but I get the same errors immediately after an update check. Anyone want to shoot me their WSE folder? The link on the taleworlds forum is an ancient version.
I know repair does this but I am desperately unskillfully troubleshooting.

I was one of the guys who bought it on steam, used their 5x5 key when CRPG needed the 4x4 key so I emailed taleworlds my steam key and they gave me my 4x4. I look back on email's when I need my key.

Launching without the offline box checked has never worked for me. Either way it doesn't work now.
Launching through exe will crash right before it finishes loading.
Works without WSE enabled. but I need that
