Title: How to Counter Feints (for the first two duels)

Tired of getting feint-spammed? Solve your problems with this one EZ trick! Tryhards hate it!

The most important thing of feinting is that it gives the feinter false control over the duel (he/she/it dictates when you block and how you block). Blocking the feint is simply following up and negating the feint, but you can effectively counter it by...

Pros:
- Free hit (sometimes)
- Completely destroy the enemy by hitting him every time he feints
- People sometimes will start complaining, and their tears will invigorate you

Cons:
- You get called out for "panic swinging" (wtf guys)
- If your enemy is smart, they'll start doing it too (same with all tactics, really) which basically invalidates feints
- You can get baited if they opponent is smart
- Almost never works after you fight the same person for the 3rd and beyond time
- Not alot of people in cRPG do long and drawn-out feints, which this tactic is effective against

It's still a pretty good tactic for new players getting feint-spammed and people looking for EZ duels.

LMAO at the video just showing off native macros... Remember when those guys came to NA1 and stayed for a week but left because they got rekt? Heat is pretty good but the rest of the TK guys aren't. A


Also another good way to counter a feint is if you feel yourself slipping in your ability to block it, just nudge them. It basically resets the feint process for the other guy and gives you a second to recoup.

lolfeinting provides no use against veteran players, and newbies don't need advanced techniques to be destroyed. Pro native players tend not to abuse lolfeinting, maybe a few moves between swings and blocks, because rest is just useless.

Irrelevant, try feinting normally whilst your screen is upright, then try it whilst your screen is moving and towards the floor, the feint is faster, right?

You can use a macro and then just sling your mouse around in a circle whilst the macro goes on and does it's job. To my knowledge you can't get a macro to move the screen for you.

Didn't you noshow to the tourney because you were too scared to show up? Same with all the other native players (Besides Sigi)?

tbh i'd call it a panic swing because the enemy looks like theyre panicing and you're swinging  :twisted: i do it all the time because people think they can double swing me and feint atleast once and i only need two hits to kill people for the most part

This really only works against the low tier tbh; a high skill player knows that when they're feinting they need to be ready to quickly cancel a feint into a block if necessary.

So yea, you can just randomly attack to interrupt feint spam, but if your opponent is actually good at attack cancelling it's a pretty useless move. You're better off working on becoming more familiar with the animations so that you can block well enough that feints don't intimidate you.

Also you can generally aim your attacks low and still watch what your opponent is doing, depending on what your FOV is set to, although it can sometimes be hard to see overheads

Just to be clear, the video you posted is a meme that Tito and Heat made. Also claiming either of them use macros is pretty fucking laughable at best. Lastly, no one fights like that; if some dude is fighting like that against you its purely because you are allowing them to.
