hello all,

I just thought i would make a thread about avatars for those of us that would either like one or would like to create our own and how would we go about doing so.

So would be great if the people that know any free sites or suggestions, ideas or tips can comment and lend a hand.

Hope it makes sense haven't gone into much detail as there is not much need :)

Won't let me access that for some odd reason :/

Don't suppose theres a link where you actually build/create the avatar or where it may say jow to do it

GIMP is just a free program for images and things like that, but it works great if you know how to use it. I'm still somewhat a newbie at it  :(

Fair snough just wNted to make sure yo were aware of the prices you may have to pay :P

Might try and get into making them, if that fails then my drawing skills will come in handy :D

And me, i might be able to draw them but just no colour so be rubbish really but i shall look into more about it and try and give them ago :))

Yeah, I like GIMP, but I'm a regular novice at it, if even that. Paint.NET isn't too bad either if you want something more simplistic. My avatar is a really bad selfie with a random background I found on google images.  :oops:

BTW, I used Paint.NET for this.

Nice work jackie :D

I've just been doodling (free hand sketches) just random armours and things just trying to learn shapes and things but i done one good klapvisor, sarranid mail shirt with a axe ok was quite decent for the 5 mins or less it took : D

I don't see your problem Kafein, I only use different fonts just to make it more interesting to look at and to get people s attention sorry you don't like it but it's a lot better than reading a whole paragraph like this and it is easier for me to see it, so if you have a problem take it else where!
