Title: Can't Launch Medieval II From Steam

It always says App is already running no matter what I doooo!!!

Had the same problem, I always just restart steam completely. I think if you don't close out the window that pops up after you launch the launcher that says "cannot connect to the server or some such", then it gives you that error the next time you launch the game

kill the process with ctrl-alt-delete

Killing the process does nothing really the same message pops up.

EDIT : Duster's solution worked. Thanks!  :P
