Title: BWE 1 who's playing?

So who is in the first beta weekend event? Byzantium Chase and friends will most likely be playing on the Riverside province, anyone up for joining and trying out the WvWvW en-masse?

No, just a bunch of oceanic players are claiming it as theirs. The server is still in the U.S. Come to Sea of Sorrows for great fun!

was this for the beta sign-ups a couple months back? if thats the case i doubt that it is still up as they closed it quite fast

If its for the pre-purchase then i'm not sure.

It's a question from FAQ's, i don't know, I can't seem to make any kind of account for Guild Wars 2 official site. I applied when it started and gave my Gmail but I received nothing.

As far as i know (and I've read it 100%) their official statement goes something like this: Only if you pre-order the game you're 100% guaranteed access to beta. That would mean that you can get it even without prepurchasing but chances for that would be very slim.  :wink:

And when you do connect its horrifically laggy and you tend to drop out. They need MUCH better servers.

I switched to being Human because every time I go Norn it lags out and crashes within 30mins. Up to level 11 now on human though  :)

WvW looks like warhammer zone capture, which is a big compliment from me. If they get the server stability right (in largscale battle) it will be the most epic shit ever
