So, uh, basically laser tag, but with VR? Well, sounds cool'ish enough.

How often do you go out for laser tag though?

It sure looks cool and good luck to them and all, but the cost of developing custom VR games with real space integration balanced against how much income they can get from one or a few more shops offering these experiences can't look too great in an economical analysis. Not to forget the running costs of facilities with staff either.

It's probably cheaper than a normal game, especially if they don't have to develop the core technologies inhouse and the length will probably be a couple of hours theme park style thing, much shorter than even a short traditional game. But a normal game can be made for millions and then each unit can sold for barely any cost on top of the next, especially if sold digitally. These guys wont' be able make to make use of that ease of distribution and maximum sales will be bound to how many people they can physically fit in at any one time. Endlessly many people can download a game from Steam, for comparison.
