General Off Topic / Revive your dead GPUs and laptops, fry them in an oven!

Doing what is shown in the link below I managed to revive my 6600GT that has been dead for like 5 years, I thought its all bs, but all the screen flashes are gone and the card is stable.

It might be worth giving it a try if your dead laptop/GPU is doing nothing else than sitting somewhere collecting dust.

Well if people make threads like fix morningstar why not this...

I've been away from some 4-6 months and I didnt see the part explainin why did LHB animation on horseback change?

Its ugly as hell, makes a rider on a horse look like a goddamn chopper, it does about SHIT damage, with 7PS and MW LHB it takes 3-4 swings to kill a18/21 medium armored guy with speed bonus from horse whereas
a thrust to body with a heavy lance and horse speedbonus onehits the guy easily, and couch onehits everyone , a perfect headswing upon a target with 50 headarmor will take about 30% away, the reach is about 15% better than other 1hs but because of the shitty animation one cant see where the hell is his LHB going and a LHB cav is just about useless in either horse stopping or cav killing, and with 7PS/MW LHB I cant onehit a damned archer unless I get a perfect swing to face, as if hitting one wasnt messed up enough. The old animation was fine, LHB cavs were few and they werent very efficent, but now.. they are nonexistant.

Suggestions Corner / Keeping multiplier after disconnecting.

I've been disconnecting very often and sometimes losing 5x multiplier (fuuuuu) because of my wireless and sometimes my ram filled up ending in an instant crash, I asked in irc if they could somehow save the multiplier upon disconnecting(obviously losing it if team loses) ending up with this answer : [21:03] <@Urist> why should we want to?
I know this could be somehow abused if not done with some thought, opinions please? I'm pretty sure im not the only one disconnecting.

cRPG Technical problems / Random flashes with 6970x2

Currently im running with [email protected] and 2x 6970 (lolyes OVERKILL, but im getting an i7 2600k and all other components with it this week)
And while playing at max settings with 1920x1080 I'm getting random flashes(all kinds of colors) that last 0,1seconds, the flashes are like 3cm wide and happen every 5-10 seconds, the drivers are upto date, the monitor works fine and im not getting anything similar on any other games so I doubt that one of the cards is faulty, anyone knows how to fix this?
(usually the flashes come from where sun is)
