Long story short, joined server and since I'm now an archer went to do some archery stuff (shooting from roofs).

This kid or midly retarded adult was there disturbing fellow archers. I kicked him (I know it hurts since he has no armor) and then he slashed me (didn't hurt much). I don't have SS of that, then he did same with some other archer who tried to shoot him and finally after some attemps to talk with the fellow kicked him as a warning to start playing properly without disturbing others. After kick I ran (I had a feeling that he'll try to slash me again and I wanted to avoid that) but he kept following me just to slash me again.

I know I did bad thing for kicking the fellow but he used melee weapon against me. I wouldn't mind if he kicked me back.

He must be new and I don't really like new people, who are slow and obviously don't know how to communicate with others. Do as you wish,

Personally I would like this fellow banned for some time, not because he did something terribly wrong but because he's clearly an idiot and I hate dumb people. When I was new I never did such stuff not because I knew it was forbidden by rules, I didn't do it because I'm not a complete moron like most new guys who come to this mod.

I don't want dumb people to spoil my fun, so I made this thread  :)

Just don't tell me that I should be example to new players and such things, because I really don't give a damn about new and stupid people.

I like how normal armors are balanced but when it comes to heirloomed armor and effect armor weight have on players I would like to write down some suggestions:

- heavier armor should slow down much more than how it is atm
- heavier armor should get more defense bonus than medium armor
- heavier armor should cost more

Idea 1:

Heirlooming bonuses for armor (light, medium, heavy):

Idea 2:

To be honest I would like to see same percentage bonus to defense for all armor, by 5% per heirloom point (15% total) but I'm not sure that's doable. Also that would make heirlooming light armor a bit pointless so maybe you could make armor lose weight by heirlooming (0.5 kg per heirloom point). I would like to see that because the main point of using light armor is mobility achieved by less weight. Also would like to see the same for heavy armor. Medium armor should just get defense bonus because it's balanced.

Example 1:

4.5 kg armor, 28/12 defense, normal
4.0 kg armor, 29/13 defense, x1
3.5 kg armor, 31/13 defense, x2
3.0 kg armor, 32/14 defense, x3

Example 2:

14.5 kg armor, 44/10 defense, normal
14.5 kg armor, 46/10 defense, x1
14.5 kg armor, 48/11 defense, x2
14.5 kg armor, 51/11 defense, x3

Example 3:

25.0 kg armor, 56/20 defense, normal
24.5 kg armor, 59/21 defense, x1
24.0 kg armor, 62/22 defense, x2
23.5 kg armor, 64/23 defense, x3

My idea of light, medium, heavy body armor is: less than 5 kg, 5-15 kg, 15+ kg.

I'm not sure is that how you differentiate armor.

I would like to see same formula going for helmets, gloves and boots. Just differentiate light, medium, heavy and you're good to go. If weight hits 0 it stays there. It would really make heavier, lighter body armor popular, same as it would benefit gloves, boots and helmets. Medium armor wouldn't be the most desirable armor piece anymore as it's now the case.

Game Balance Discussion / Make certain 2H weapons one slot

I came to conclusion that certain 2H weapons should be one slot. They are listed bellow:

All bastard swords (Bastard, Heavy Bastard and Longsword)
Katana


I'm basing my idea on the fact that those are either short and small weapons or held in one hand while not in combat mode. Therefore I think making them 2 slot like great swords and huge mauls is a bit off and makes no sense.

Do you agree or not? If not please state in this thread why you think it's a bad idea.

I'm aware that making this thread isn't very smart thing to do, considering that most of skilled community (including numerous admins and developers) love those "features". Yet I've started this thread to find out what the rest of unskilled, non duelist part of community think of invisible reach every 2H sword has.

What do you guys think of this. When will time come to finally fix invisible reach and lighting fast lolstab? Or these features will be greatest thing c-rpg has to offer in centuries to come?  )

Suggestions Corner / Transferable heirlooms

I'm not sure have anyone suggested this already (chance for that is quite high) but transferable heirlooms would be awesome. Most people have 1-4 heirloomed items and it kinda sux when their heirloomed weapon get nerfed. Making heirlooms transferable from one item to another wouldn't create imbalance since most active players have at least one heirloomed item, actually that would allow them and encourage them to try different roles and not stick to just one (shielder, polearmer, twohander etc.)

I know that maker of this mod thinks that heirlooms and lvl 31 are for nolifers and therefore shouldn't be made easier or buffed in any way. But those people are active players of this mod and they should at least be able to keep their heirlooms while changing roles.

I want to hear public opinion on this subject.

I know this sounds stupid and might be false accusation but I think that Kesh_BRD is using a bot. Today, I saw him on EU servers for at least an hour and all he did was charging forward, waiting to be killed. He didn't defend himself.

Either he is testing something or he's found a new bot. Since he's NA player he probably think that being banned on EU server isn't a big deal so he choose to leech here. That's my theory at least. Can one of admins investigate this, I'm unable to record screenshots or video.

Servers are full of them. Some are leeching, some are claiming they can't wear anything so all they do is putting siege ladders all over the place. This isn't Minecraft, this game is about fighting not creating levels.

I don't mind them in battle since they get killed anyway. But in siege those people are huge issue. Yeah I know, I shouldn't play siege blah blah blah. But from time to time I wish to play it and with few of those in your team loss is certain.

Is there anything you (game admins, mods) can do to stop this kind of behaviour? Can you put server announcement or something. It should say: "This server is meant for fighting and playing the game properly, if you want to fool around please go to LLJK server."
