I have been busy for a while, with my other organizers also being nowhere to be found.

anyway i have rated the teams, we will be skipping the test case matched, tournament will start in group stage in August.

I'll be taking a look at merging options tomorrow. Captains can contact me with some suggestions if they want to.

For now the most logical choice seems Denmark merging with Norway, as norway did not get a new captain but should have enough members to fill up Denmarks gaps.

For Sweden we'll have to find another solution though.

other then that most nations seem to have enough people with a sizeable reserve.

We'll also have to settle on timing for the event, currently we will either be looking at a Mid-late July start, though it seems some people have expresses an interest in starting the event in September. each captain should send me a PM with his team's preferred month

The above teams will have to post their initial line-ups by today, last chance.
Those that don't will be rejected for tournament entry. PM me if there is a specific problem why you can't post anything. Having to many players is not an excuse.

EDIT: concering UKR and Polish teams, while i might relax the rules for one of the teams so that they can play, i will not allow two nation teams basicly just having GO members, i also really doubt that there aren't more UKR options spread around different clans.

I did not ask everyones opinion on the needed rule set, seeing as the scale of the tournament will be quite a lot larger then any we have had so far this needs to be done properly. the aim is to create a balance of classes while still allowing for plenty of flexibility, heirloom/STF restricitions will also need to be set, the servers themselves need to be tested, the referees need to be evaluated, the server settings will also need to be finalized, the maps will also need to be selected, the list goes on and on. In short there needs to be a lot of things done in the current weeks to ensure a fun and hopefully equal and competative tournament, which is why we will be hosting test matches to make sure everything goes alright, it has no use already setting the class / item/ STF restrictions already since we do not know the proper balance for an event such as this.

What this basicly means is that the captains should just get their teams ready and listed, making adjustments later if needed. So that i can continue doing my part in all of this.

As i have stated beforehand, we will soon be hosting some test matches, for which i will need teams during these test matches we will draft the final rule sets.

I have also stated that each team can change their 16 man line-up up to 4 days before every match, to make substitutions and adjustments in tactics, meaning that if you handle things properlu as a captain and rotate your positions in the team there is no need for your reserve to lose interest.

I really need to know each team's current numbers and rough line up so that i can start merging smaller nations, and the longer this is dragging on the longer it will take before this event can properly start.

How can we post lineups without knowing the actual rules?

Until I know what I am actually working towards then my "lineup" consists of every single UK player that has so far attended a training or registered their interest.  That's about 25 - 30 players atm

I should have time to take back over from exxc by the end of next week, make sure you get your initial team comps ready, i will first organize a couple of test matches to try out specific rule sets before the rules are to be finalized. Either teams that already have a basic line-up or clans will be asked to help out with these matches.

This means that during this period the nations that need to merge with others nations will be arranged.

I would also like to remind you that we still need more referees, having double coverage on matches would be ideal, furthermore for the teams that do not yet want to pick their 16 members remember that your teams line-up can be changed up to 4 days in advance of each match.
