I've been struggling as a ping warrior for the last few weeks on NA_1, but I haven't had any problems with the server getting the block direction wrong. It's just hard to get the block up in time. I usually have to guess which direction the opponent is going to swing and block well and truly before the animation begins.
To anyone that has to put up with 200+ ping: avoid 2H heroes and target shielders or archers. Or better yet, stop trying to play competitively because it's impossible and just go and leech on EU_DOUBLE_XP

If you would have wrote it better with a better subject name this could have been a legit thread. If you would have made your point well enough in the first place. Now it fiddles in the spampuddle. Well done Owens.
To be fair, Australian cRPG players have had it pretty rough, so I can understand why Owens is frustrated.
We nearly had an Aus cRPG comeback in late 2012 when the LCC server was getting 20+ players a night, but the server would crash every few days, and sometimes it would take days for one of the admins to restart it. This led to players moving on to NW, PW and whatnot because of all the downtime.
There's still a small group of aus players interested in this mod, but personally I can't go more than half an hour on NA playing with consistent 230 ping. Hopefully this new server does eventually get connected to the database and is reliable.
