The Hounds of Chulainn bear the name and banner of the legendary Irish warrior Cú Chulainn. We hold his namesake for we embody his battle fury and loyalty. for the people that like to trashtalk about HoC in the siege servers.

the last couple months, i discovered that a lot of people are talking trash about HoC, on the moment when we enter the siege server
We have to acknowledge that were not like KUTT, a clan where almost everyone use a maul, or like MB, where almost everyone plays with 2h weapons and win the siege, as defender or attacker.
we play as a group, and for fun, not taking the game not too serious, like some people does
HoC tries to gain or hold the flag, but most of the time we are overwhelmed by a force from 2h and maulers

and when we lose the fight, every player complains that we suck
its your right, but then i ask to those people that tels that we suck, where the hell where you?????
we stand alone, no 1 comes to aid us, but everyone complains when HoC loose
on the other hand, we gain also respect from alot of clans, what we do as a group, if we win or loose, those people knows how hard we fought, is it in siege, batle or even in strat, we give always the best of oure self, if we win or loose.

that we have trolls in HoC, yes that's true, i'm a troll, but which clan does not have a troll
but that we are being taken or insulted as clan because of from some of these people in the clan, that's not correct.

no 1 dare to say that KUTT (i'm sorry that i have offended the KUTT clan, but i hope you accept my apologies for it), are plated maulers for the very reason that they win the siege every time, as defenders or attackers (again, very sorry if i offended the KUTTclan) with there mauls or bluntweapons
i do know that alot of people are using other weapons in KUTT, but it is to make an example and KUTT is famoust for it, and i have respect for KUTT btw

why we have a lot of bad players or newbies in the clan, isn't that the meaning to get crpg running, bringing up new players, even when they suck in the game?????
give those people the chance to play a game in a group, learning them how this game works, and working as a group, to gain the goal, if we win or lose

It's good to see HoC on battle more. Your medium builds will do better there and your group tactics & teamwork will be pushed to improve more than playing on siege because most maps are a lot more freeform and dynamic so more group discipline, cohesion, awareness and adaptation are needed. One thing is since you are large you may want to encourage some guys to pick up cav and archer it's always good to have a few supporting your infantry.

I've found siege isn't very fun these days with 10-20 MB or KUTT on all stacking plate and str builds. They've really specialized for siege's close confines and chokepoints so a team with a huge gear value and HP advantage is starting with the deck stacked for them that it's hard for skill and smart play to overcome.

More fun on battle where HP and plate matters a lot less, and a lot more weapons have a place (coincidently MB & KUTT almost never show up cuz they can't stack it like in siege).

HoC does get a lot of crap in siege for the very reason that they banner stack but can't face up to KUTT, very few can really due to their amount of armor and numbers most of the time. But give it a little more time of practicing together and working out strategies and I believe you guys will be a force to recognize.
You are very broad in your builds with archers, shielders, maulers. You have the ability to soak up damage and really deal it out but I think you guys just need to get more coordination, that seems to be the only issue that holds your teams back. You guys are grouped but just kinda just go around it seems you are all over the place all the time.
I personally really enjoy fighting MB especially jaich because he is a two hander with archery, throwing, and can ride a horse, he isn't dedicated which makes me respect his skill.
I dislike fighting you guys because you all have shields making it hard to get at you and you just swarm like a angry swarm of bees.

I also mentioned earlier that you guys use bows and mauls. I haven't seen two handers or dueling one handers yet. But it's the shielders I notice most because they can swarm me in a corner to kick, poke, and prod me to death haha.

I got an invite to join in my messages, but I didn't have time to respond.  When I went to look at it again I couldn't see the message or who it was from.  Anyways, flattered that you like my siege skills, though I must confess my abilities seem to bounce up and down.  I am a 4th gen thrower/1 h, though my first 2 gens didn't count because I tended to make cav/range/2 hand/thrower hybrids.  A little lack of decision there.

I just started playing again after a very long break, and am finally getting some kills.  A little training with some more experienced guys should help a lot.  That said, I'm gonna hold off joining this clan.  It looks damned cool, and when I do join a clan it should be this one.  But right now I don't have internet at home, and am not sure if I'll be staying where I am now.  If I do settle at my place I'll join, but until then it's internet cafes (I pretend I'm writing scripts) and friends' places.  So I'm afraid I can't be that reliable, plus Team Speak in public places prolly doesn't work very well.

I'll look for you ingame, and try fight beside you.

Let me clear things up since I saw you were muted in TS and maybe didn't hear everything. Our allies (TKOV & MB) let us conduct strat battles in their TS. This makes it really convenient for obvious reasons. They only have 65 slots, and were capped at 65/65 - so TKOV leaders and HOC leaders were kicking people from that TS to make room for potential or already accepted members on that roster.

That being said, due to the previous history between HoC and Malta, Malta doesn't get accepted to HoC strat battles. Which in that is why you were kicked, you were potentially taking up a spot for someone else who could have been in the TS.

Also, I highly doubt there is any ruling about us kicking members because they go to your TS. I've visited plenty of times now. Hell, we've even played Dayz together, in tkov ts.

It's their roster, you've got no entitlement to be on it. If people don't like you, you do not have that privilege to hop on their roster.

Also, wildpete was the funniest motherfucker alive in our 5am battle against malta. Really made it fun, that battle had some good vibes going to it, mostly because I think the majority of the team was sleep deprived, drunked, stoned, or all 3.

The trolling and all this other shenanigans, for either party is here nor there. We weren't questioning your effectiveness in the strat battles. I am aware of the fact that you do engineer work.

You were kicked out for previous listed reasons, 65/65 TS cap, and the HISTORY between HoC and Malta. NOT BECAUSE YOU SIMPLY LEFT.

I also do not know who accepted you in the first place, and note that HoC will not let Malta fight for them.



It is a very simple situation that had simple solutions, I am sorry you feel offended.

It is shitposting like this that leads people to believe that you are trolling. Tantrums are funny and all, but many people don't understand that you're being serious. It's mostly your tattletale behavior and self important mentality that makes people think you're joking. Kirby, HoC doesn't have some personal vendetta against Malta or yourself. Sure we make you and your clanmates a primary target on the battlefield, but being a game and all, it is all done in jest. You have constructed some alternate reality for yourself in which HoC are sincerely upset about you leaving the clan. In all honesty, nobody cares. It is how seriously you take all of this that makes it so hard to stop tormenting you.

But Kirby, if you're trying to be "the better man" you could do a much better job. I read those ban threads you've posted. You start off one ban thread with:

2. Seriously?  I thought this adolescent humor was done with... another Teamwounding incident with HoC unto Malta.  I here present to you a case of HoC_WilD:

You start off the threads with a verbal attack of HoC (and you do it with a patronizing tone), when there are other ways of wording the ban thread (e.g. I was purposely TKed at spawn by player XYZ). If you're all about being more mature then them (criticizing someone's grammar is not a way of proving maturity by the way, it is actually just as terrible as them insulting your voice) then do not stoop to their level. If they accidentally hit you in a major fight, don't M them (its a practice most people follow). Similarly, I left HoC. Shit happened afterward, but I stayed friendly about them and from time to time will still hop in TS with them and say hey. It's all good now.
You've pretty much destroyed your chance of cordiality, and the best option for you is to take a big step back and realize that HoC truly, sincerely, does not care. 

Phantasmal was spot on. Smegmar was too when he said you're getting hassled by a few of HoC's worst players (sorry guys). It's not HoC as a whole.
As an admin, I've taken action against them before, and if you post a legitimate ban thread that isn't sheer vengeance for an accidental TW, I'll look into it as would any other admin.

My basic assessment and opinion of you is I don't really like you and I know for a fact that you can be very trolley and spazzy. I have played in community for quite some time now and I know thats where you spend most of you're time and I can say I have seen you pulling stupid little shenanigans time and time again, even when I have gotten my adminship on that server, you would continue to do things. I am also very familiar with HoC, I basically ran the clan at one point long ago (under bonesaws giant dick of course, as the kingshand) and have never grown away from them since I left. I frequently talk to there members and I am pretty up to date on what happens in their clan. You were a little shit even in HoC.

Now as for the team wounding situation, this is a bunch of bullshit too. Kirby I know most of the time you are trolling them or talking shit to them and just aggravating them, which in turn they retaliate with team hits. So I can really call it an aggravated assault I guess. You are not the "bigger man" in the whole situation, you're acting like a child, like you always have. So just stop fucking with people, whether that is HoC or anyone else, because frankly, its getting old.

As for HoC. I know you are a willy bunch and a bunch of potheads and drunkards, and I love all of you, but please stop with the team killing. I was quite surprised that you decided to slaughter me and my men.  True, I did leave the clan, but that was because I wanted to take part in Strat battles, and I wasn't having that much fun just generating troops to be sent to New Almerra Castle.  I also wasn't much a fan of the TeamSpeak; nothing personal of course, I'd just rather the conversation was focussed on the combat, perhaps slightly RPish as well.  It's a little distracting trying to fight three guys at once while some bored voices drone on about Skyrim or Persistant world.  But that is just me.

My plan was to gain a little independence, make some money, equip some troops, trade a little and build up, then fight for you guys under my own banner.  I mean, we were friends, surely you could have trusted me?  Or at least sent me a message to ask my intentions?  Oh right, I don't use Steam.

Yesterday's attack felt like a knife twisting in my back.  Fortunately I had a case of beer in the fridge, which made the pain go away, and it was good fighting next to your guys in siege and battle (though I noticed for each beer I had, I dropped 2 rankings in the score board- weird coincidence eh?).

SO THIS IS A WARNING TO YOU!  If you ever show up in Vancouver, well, I'll still buy a pitcher of beer for you, but it won't be the good stuff!  But not the really cheap stuff either.  But middling, I tell you!  Middling, mwah ha ha!  Revenge, as they say, is a drink best served cold.  In a frosted mug.  Maybe with some wings.
