Maybe if Coronoa virus gets rid of 50 percent or more of the world population we can do without a pope and religion.

They probably got tired of listening to the Diablo fanbase's years of whining, so rather then trying to please it, they decided to kill it entirely. Quick and clean murder. The series has been surrounded by uncertainty for years now. Pretty decent finale, id say.

It will most likely do well with younger audiences and most definitely with the asian scene. Asians love mobile games.

diablo 2 was oustanding and diablo 3 became, after the cash shop was removed, also a lot of fun

but since stuff like overwatch became very viral they're now reaching out to a broader audience, which of course feels a bit like betrayal to fans since they kept a pretty clear target group up to that point and knew it well

Now its "Everybody's darling is nobody's friend", and they accept that because it means more money. Some people call it modernization and self-reinvention, others loss of personality.

Its a bit gay yeah, but as long as they throw out some good games here and there I don't care.

LOL, Blizzard could not have fucked up harder than they did.

They've been deleting comments, deleting downvotes, re-uploaded the trailer twice, and....

This guy going "YOU GUYS DONT HAVE PHONES???"

The backlash is massive. Good job Blizzard.

Personally im with Gravoth on this. I dont think Blizzard fucked up that much. When a series or a company moves to mobile it generally means they moved away from the Western neckbeard audiences to asians on mobile. Consider yourselves dropped as the target audience bois. The only part Blizzard did fuck up was live announcing to a Western PC audience. That went about as expected. They should have done it in China or something and block entrance to roundeyes who did manage to get a planeticket.

Blizzard has always been notorious for being extremely out of touch with their playerbase. Granted, their games are overall good, but I think success has stepped into their heads a bit too hard and nowadays they just come off as arrogant.

Shown already with "you think you do but you don't" when people asked for classic WoW a few years back. Lo and behold, we're getting that as well now. That + Activision, who wants easy money. And what's better for massive, effortless profit than hiring a chinese firm to reskin a mobile game and sell it off as a blizzard game.

I miss diablo 2. If it didn't delete characters after a certain time I likely would have continued to play.

I still play it like once a year for a couple weeks or so, nothing else beats it in that genre overall IMO. Diablo 3 is not a bad game but I definitely wouldn't say it's a good Diablo game, I got bored of it fairly quickly too and have no desire to ever play it again. Shame they've pretty much confirmed the death of the series with this shitty chinese mobile game lol.

I have played all their games, and just watched blizzcon and release video. You guyz thinking childish if you think they failed they sucked etc.It is a company, what company care is money not our satisfaction. And i bet they will earn huge amount from retarded cellphonemy old friends with pay to win pay to dress pay to teleport etc.THEY WILL USE DONKEY CREW METHOD,TAKE THE WALLET forget about the game.

Just realize gentlemen : failing is not a choice for such company, they have huge investors, shareholders and shit, they know the income and outcome before even making the game.
